We visited the museum and butterfly farm on the way back from Xunantunich ruins. The tour was very informative about the Maya lifestyle and also about loca flora and fauna. The butterfly farm was like a fairy dream. My 7 years old enjoyed as much as i did.

Being on a hotel property I wasn't sure how interesting this would be, but it was really well done. They put a lot of time & pride into it so it's a great way to spend a couple hours learning about Belize. The butterfly farm was really cool, they really care about them!

what we saw was interesting and our guide was great, but definitely not worth the time and heat. This may be good for younger kids (elementary age).

Very knowledgeable and informative guides helped us understand the natural history of Central Belize. The blue morpho butterflys are dazzling.

Admirably complete and shows what you might see on the trail. Also conveys the history of the land. Right next to the butterfly farm and both can be done together. Recommend you do it in the beginning of your stay

You are just right in the Middle of them in their conservatory. The guide is so good in explanations. It is simply a so beautiful souvenir and so interesting to re discover more about them

We took a cab from San Ignacio to Chaa Creek to visit the Blue Morpho Butterfly Farm...and we loved it! For a low entree fee we had access to their great natural History Museum, with a helpful and very knowledgeable guide. We also had access to the Blue Morpho Butterfly farm. Again we had an amazing guide all to ourselves... More

this small but interesting museum is staffed by people who can answer questions and are very friendly. I especially liked the birds nests, the mayan home, and the butterfly house.

A great exhibit of the history of Belize, especially the area surrounding the resort. A must see while a guest. Our family thought the museum was very well done and informative. The butterfly house is close by. This is where they propagate two species of butterflies. Everything at Chaa is First Class
