We met Sergio walking around town and he was so helpful with more than booking our tour! We were traveling shortly after the country’s reopening from COVID so a lot of things were closed, but Sergio made sure we had a great experience! Due to flooding we couldn’t Cave Tube or visit some ruins but he set us up with a private Zipline tour and it was incredible! We will definitely be contacting him for our next adventure when we return after the pandemic.…

It was easy to arrange airport pick-up and drop off with Sergio through email prior to our trip. The drivers were on time and very friendly. We had a Barton Creek Cave tour scheduled but due to an injury, we kept asking for a later tour date. They were very accommodating. Selmo was a wonderful knowledgeable friendly tour guide. He picked us up at our rental villa He explained what we were seeing along the way. He gave a detailed history about the cave and pointed out the wildlife as he paddled the canoe through the cave. Sergio Jr took me to the grocery store and found a pharmacy for me close by. He went above and beyond for me and I am very appreciative. Thank you!…

Sergio Jr. picked me up so I didn't have to walk to their office which was great since I was using a cane at the time. During our drive, he pointed out interesting things but really came into his own once we got to the Nohoch Che'en Caves. There were only 4 of us which made it much more fun and we beat the big cruise ship groups. Sergio Jr. kept the pace slow on our walk which I was thankful for. We forded the river and hiked through the beautiful rain forest on a nice, flat path before launching our tubes in the river entrance to the cave. Once inside Sergio Jr. made sure we didn't miss any of the interesting sights. At certain points he had to pull us because the water was low and at other places he acted as our brakeman to keep us from going to fast and hitting overhanging branches. Two of the group went on the zipline. They said they'd been on several and it offered the best views they'd been on. I highly recommend Explore Inland Tours. Just a side note: Sergio, Jr. , I met your mom at Nancy's Baby Store. Tell her I said hello!…

went on 2 tours with this company and both were fantastic! unfortunately it rained a bunch while we were in san ignacio so our tours kept getting cancelled. but the staff were super friendly and informative and provided us with other things to do while we waited for the rain to life. first we went to Barton Cave canoeing with Selmo. super funny and personable. he explained alottttt of stuff, from the caves to mayan culture to what trees and fruits there were. super cool to see inside a different cave, we got into some tight spots too. i can include a picture or two. don’t need any skill for this, it’s pretty easy we FINALLY got to do ATM with the rain lifted and we were so excited. no pictures except a before and after. no longer allowed to bring them in the cave. craziest experience of my life. i am generally a nervous person who is afraid of small spaces and heights and i did it. some bumps and scratches but it’s no biggie. our guide was Ian and he was fantastic. he got us in the cave before 95% of groups were there so we really got the experience the cave in the dark. we were going out when a ton of group were going in. he was patient and kind and had me come to the front in small areas so he could talk me through how to complete the areas. we are so glad we did both tours with this group! …

Selmo was our knowledgeable guide. He knew we were interested in wildlife and he made sure he saw and heard as many things as nature had for us that day. We learned so much history, plant info and about native species. Lunch provided was delicious and we felt very pampered. Tours with Selmo are a must for your San Ignacio visit. We booked explore inland tours because of a very kind young man who approached us on the street with a smile and gracious kindness.…
