We had a great time with Katun Ahaw Tours while in San Ignacio. Christian took us on a tour of Tikal, which was an amazing experience. He was glad to answer my many questions, and you could see he was also passionate about what he was teaching me. Our second tour was to the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Preserve with... More

Elias is a Pro. Up to date, reliable transportation. Excellent, educated guide, affable and courteous. Attuned to the circumstance of his guests. Picked us up at our resort and escorted us the entire day. Highly recommend!

Elias personally took my wife and I to Tikal and I would rate it a 120 on a scale of 100!!! He is so knowledgable, took us down trails no other guide did to show us wildlife and plants....completely answers every question we had... Was less expensive than most and I was expecting a cold burrito lunch and it was... More

Went on ATM tour with Juan Carlos (J.C.) and had an incredible time. Juan Carlos was friendly and unbelievably informative. He was careful to share his knowledge about the caves, Mayan culture and Belize and even gave us advice about other things to do and see in Belize. We are so grateful we went on this adventure!

I had booked the trip to go with Elias but unfortunately he was not well enough to take us to Tikal when we arrived, but he went out of his way to be there in the morning to say hi and introduce us to our guide. The tour is worth the money and you don't have to worry about anything.... More

Oh my goodness, I couldn't have asked for a better trip to Tikal! I was staying in San Ignacio, Belize and really wanted to go to Tikal but was slightly nervous about crossing into Guatemala. Thank goodness I went with Elias - he organized everything seamlessly. He was always so thoughtful and went above and beyond his role as a... More

We recently toured Tikal and Yaxha with Elias and it was one of our best days on our trip. He is full of knowledge regarding the ancient Maya and very thorough in his explanations. He picked us up dropped and us and patiently waited for us as we needed to use the ATM. His vehicles on the Belize and Guatemalan... More

While staying at Casa Blanca Guesthouse in downtown San Ignacio my husband and I used Elias' company, K'atun Ahau for 4 different tours during our week long stay. It was our good fortune that we had Elias for the Tikal trip to Guatemala and Nazario (sp?) for our other 3 in Belize. Each excursion was well worth our time and... More

We booked our tour via Lower Dover Jungle Lodge and our tour guide Juan Carlos wasted no time in sharing his knowledge of Mayan and local culture with us! We were extremely happy to do the tour with him as he suggested that we delay our trip by one day so he could book the early spot and we do... More
