This is a very basic screened enclosure that houses rescued and young iguanas that is run on a shoestring budget. The workers are wonderful and well informed. It is a delight, but a very basic.

Learned so much about Iguanas and tried holding one for the first time and fell in love ! Truly beautiful creatures! Watch out for Oscar in mating season 😋

This was a fun little tour where we got to hold, feed, and take lots of pictures with full grown and baby iguanas. Definitely worth it!

Our guide was interesting and knowledgeable. It was fun to see the iguanas up close and hold them. The iguanas are released when they reach maturity.

We spent a day exploring the town of San Ignacio. Our visit lasted about an hour. We were able to handle and feed the iguanas while learning about them. Our guide was very personable and took the time to spend individual time with each guest....More

The rate is set for adults and children. It is 9.00 USD per adult and 4.50 USD per child 11 and under.

Good afternoon, The Green Iguana Conservation Project is open daily from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Tours are done every hour and cost $9.00 US per person
