This was a great experience. The class started with a trip to the local market to buy some produce. William explained lots of interesting items to us and we got to taste some unusual (for us) fruits, vegetables and ice cream. We then proceeded to the cooking school where we were all provided with aprons and chefs hats!. William was a great teacher and the class was very good fun. At the end we had a lovely meal eating what we had cooked. The whole experience was accompanied by several rum punches too! After the course William sent us lots of photos and the recipes which I will definitely be trying at home. I would highly recommend this experience.…

This was a fantastic way to spend the morning. William, our fearless chef was amazing, friendly and very interactive. He took us to the market so we could learn about some of the different foods in Belize and then we went back to the class for some great interactive cooking. We learned alot about Belizean cooking and best of all, we also got to sample the hot sauces (which are fantastic!). The cost was reasonable and it was a great way to spend a morning! The food we made was also amazing! …

My husband and I just took the class today and it has truly been a highlight of our trip! My husband enjoys cooking and grilling so this activity was up his alley. William is so wonderful, patient and knowledgeable. He managed to wrangle our group quite nicely and helped us pull off a delicious Kriol meal. The rum punch was also tasty and helped me cook better. Please try this when you're in Belize. It is definitely worth it!!…

My husband and I chose to do this activity on a whim and are so glad we did! William is an excellent teacher and chef. He made everyone in our group feel included and made sure we all had an opportunity to contribute to the food we were making. He really wants the group to relax and have a good time. You start off by taking a tour of the San Ignacio market where you can try fruit and soursop ice cream. Then it's off to the tortilla shop to pick up some flour. Then you get to cooking! The food you have the opportunity to make is delicious! There's plenty of tasty hot sauce and jams to try throughout the experience too. After class, William will send you the pictures he took and the recipes so you can make this food at home. The whole experience is well worth your time and the cost.…

A great morning. First we walked to the market which was interesting to learn about different fruits/vegetables that were unknown to us. We got back and were given chef’s hats and aprons and set to preparing the food. A lot of fun and a lot of rum punches! All very enjoyable. We even were taught how to process milk from a coconut (will be taking the short cut at home and buying a can!). Lots of photos were taken throughout and these were sent to us along with the recipes. Thoroughly recommend.…
