Belize Inland Tours took my group of 11 to Xunantunich and Cahal Pech, including a great lunch in San Jose Succotz at Benny's Kitchen. Our tour guide was Neko, a great guy and super-knowledgeable. This was a long day with a tight time schedule and Neko helped us nail it! The Mayan ruins were fascinating, not crowded, and we learned a lot from Neko. Highly recommend Belize Inland Tours, and ask for Neko!

Great tour! Unique experience that we were able to pair with Xunantunich and an awesome brunch near the ruins. Long day trip coming from Hopkins for our group of 8, but so incredibly worth it (leave early to fit it all in!!!). Anyways, these guys were great! Omar was very quick to respond during the booking process and made it very easy (we even had to push it back an hour to fit it in and he was able to accommodate). Our guide Vida (Loca) was super knowledgeable and made our whole group feel comfortable. Also, we were the only group in the cave, which was a huge bonus. Highly recommend!!

Miko & Omar ar warm, friendly and knowledgeable tour guides with your safety and enjoyment their #1 concerns. Growing up in this area of central Belize the area to them is like their backyard. They recite information about the plants, animals, weather, cave formations and history like you couldn't believe. Just did their 7 mile cave tour that was fun and informative. Highly recommend!

We did the Cave Kayak Tour and for the most part we loved it! It is quite an experience in and of itself. Neko did all of the heavy lifting for us where we had to hike in. We even got to see a spider monkey while waiting for him! Going from cave to cave and sometimes having to guide ourselves in small spaces by walking our hands on the ceiling of the cave was fun. I did feel like we missed a lot of information/history that could have been shared and with our inexperience of kayaking, I feel like some cues could have been given much earlier during our experience. I was also a bit shocked when it came time to pay that they do not take cards. They do not state this online or in any of our email correspondences. Luckily, because they gave us a discount and I brought all the cash I had, I had just enough to pay +tip, but that cash was supposed to be for food and souvenirs. So just be aware to have enough cash if you decide to book with them. But overall, happy we did it!

We did the full day cave exploring, tubing and blue hole visit. Our guide Vida was excellent and really knew what he was doing. After much research on the various caves, we decided that this trip was a good middle of the road option for our family. We hiked a brief walk to the mouth of the cave, then went a little way into it with our inner tubes. We left them at the river and headed up the cave for a couple of hours of spelunking. Vida knew were he was going and showed us a lot of interesting formations. After scrambling (wear pants you can get dirty!) we took our inner tubes up the river to the back of the cave and enjoyed a peaceful float out. Lunch afterwards was homemade and delicious! Then they drove us over to the blue hole for swimming. It was a relaxing and refreshing end to our day.

Short hike on a good path, cave entrance was absolutely magical. You are basically towed along by your guide, not the type of tubing you may have done on a river. There were only 2 of us and the silence was beautiful. At the end, we turned off our headlamps and floated back in pitch black for about 10 min. Just so calm and lovely. The guide was informative, too.

Xunantunich Mayan Ruins were really impressive. Our guide Neko made the experience even more meaningful with his knowledge of the history and customs of the Mayan culture. We also did the cave tubing adventure, which was truly enjoyable. The bonus of the experience was our guide Neko. He has a deep knowledge and appreciation for the plants, birds and animals of the area and was able to identify birds we saw and heard. He made the entire experience richer and more meaningful.

Great service. Quick answers to online questions. We did a cave tubing activity with Omar, one of the owners (in the blue hole area). Very knowledgeable, polite, funny. Good value vs booking a similar tour in San Ignacio (assuming you have your own transportation). Would do it again and recommend.

We would like to go to Tikal on the Guatemala border. Can we get a tour from Almond Beach or Hopkins? How much will it cost? Can we do it in 1 day?
Do you operate all of your tours all year?
Thank you
Hello
We definitely conduct tour to tikal year round. Tikal tour is a fullday trip therefore you would need to be picked up at Almond beach at around 4 a.m to be back from Tikal around 5 or 6 p.m
To give you a price we would like to know the size of the group
You can email us at our email adress
We are a family of two active seniors in our mid 60s with two nine year old children. How would you rate the difficulty? Sounds incredible but I'm concerned. Thanks.
Hello. The entire cave tubing tour take approximately 2.5 hrs, however half of that time is walking. To be honest the oldest person we had doing this tour was 78 and did great. There is 300 yards of the cave that is done walking but its nothing about crawling or climbing.
