Art Box is an arts and crafts center located in the hidden jewel of the Caribbean, Belize. This lush tropical country located in Central America has provided the inspiration for the Caribbean art and Belize art that we take pride in offering to the country and its visitors. Here at Art Box we have been designing and producing, beautiful, and elegant, high quality products inspired by the rich Belize culture and Caribbean culture since November of 1996 when we first opened our doors.

We place the utmost importance on sharing authentic Belizean and Caribbean art with our customers, and in turn introducing the world to the culture of our magnificent country, Belize and the Caribbean. The authenticity of our products is evident in the fact that a large percentage of our merchandise is made by local Belizean artists and craftsmen. This allows us to provide a revenue and support for our local artists and in turn share their work and Belize culture with you. Through Art Box we have been able to come closer to our goal of bringing more affordable and functional luxuries into everyone's lives. We insist on product quality, customer service, product evaluation and improvement.

We at Art Box have one true focus as a company and that is to allow everyone access to the products of Belize so that no matter where you are in the world we can bring the best that the Belize culture (and Caribbean culture) has to offer to your doorstep.

The Art Box features the work of local artists. They offer a ton of wood work, small art pieces and locally made hot sauces, coffee, etc. This is a serious art store not a souvenir shop. Check it out!

This was one of the few places I found Belize coffee (no whole bean though). Very nice, scenic gift shop (very clean bathrooms). You can find anything you might want to take back).

The art box is always our first stop for gifts for friends and family, we check to see what they have and check the prices the art box usually has some of the best prices. There's always a gift we forgot to buy or couldn't find and we stop on our way to the airport for coffee and last minute gifts.... This is a nice interesting shop filled with beautiful carved wood furniture, bowls, spoons and a nice selection of souvenirs from beautiful art to tacky stuff like keychains and magnets. I dont like that they didn't take AMEX which always limits a store's purchases but you can freely browse and find a nice variety. The tiny outdoor area is great... More

this amazing shop is worth the stop even if you don't buy anything. the decor is natural, unique, and inspiring. the collection of local arts and crafts for sale are high quality yet reasonably and appropriately priced. there is also a bookstore and coffee bar. this will become a regular stop for me during belize trips.

Great selection of carvings, art work, jewelry, furniture, books, instruments, textiles, souvenirs all in one place. Maybe a bit on the expensive side but great to see what's available all in one nice well-maintained location.

We stocked up on some smaller pieces to take home to family members. Lots to look at, but they are very pricey and the people working were less than friendly. We found many similar and identical pieces in other areas for almost half the price. I wanted a bowl that was marked at $160 american and I got it a... More

We stopped in this store while on the western highway just outside of Belmopan. The hardwood carvings are gorgeous. Even the building, gate and entrance are a feast for the eyes. True to apparent Belizean tradition there are no pushy vendors here. The best we saw in all of Belize!

I was really impressed with the art there. Really classy stuff and not the usual cheap stuff from the street vendors. You'll be impressed...wood art, pottery, furniture, etc..
