The Crystal Cave in Belize is a magnificent underground wonderland! It's a challenging hike/scramble through the cave, but it is worth the effort! Our guide Israel helped us find the right footing and handholds, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan history and artifacts in the cave. Israel was very hospitable and clearly a very experienced cave guide, and he brought delicious food from his farm for lunch! This was by far the most unique cave I've ever explored! I highly recommend Wildland Belize Adventures for your tour!

Crystal Cave is a hidden gem in Belize! It combines unique and varied cave formations with rich Mayan history. Our guide was Israel and he made our experience truly incredible. Crystal Cave can be a challenge to navigate, with some slippery surfaces and tricky maneuvers, but Israel showed us every step and handhold along with way, and he paced it perfectly so that we explored deep inside the cave with plenty of stops to learn about pottery and ritual remains. Highly recommend!

We had originally planned to tour the famous ATM cave again but some of the knowledgeable locals recommended that we go to the Haunted Forest Cave instead. And we're so glad that we took a chance and trusted them. The Haunted Forest Cave is little known, but it's spectacular. It may not have the scale of Mayan artifacts that the ATM does, but it more than makes up with it's grandiose size and magnificent geological features which are pristine. Arnold could not have done a better job touring four of us through the cave for 4 1/2 hours. He's extremely knowledgeable on the geological features of the cave and on Mayan history/traditions. Arnold also knows alot about the Belizean jungle and its wildlife. Best of all, he was really eager and passionate about sharing that with us. He knew all of corners and crevices in the cave which are challenging to climb to, but well work the effort to see some amazing things. Also have to highlight the lunch which was provided. We were treated to a delicious lunch which was prepared by Arnold's wife. But it was the way it was served which was the star of the show. Sitting in the pitch black on river rocks beside a flowing river with lunch served on a white table cloth under candle light!! We highly recommend Arnold and Wildland Belize Adventures, top marks !! Thanks again Arnold !!

If you are looking for a great local experience and want something that is authentic, I highly recommend Wildland Belize Adventures. The cave trek my husband and I did was unlike anything else I have ever experienced! Arnold and Junior were incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable. They spoke about the areas folklore and were able to point out ruins of Mayan pottery, etc within the cave. They also made sure you felt safe and were comfortable the entire time. The food they brought to eat was home cooked by Arnold's wife - amazing! It was truly a unique and once in a lifetime adventure! We can't wait to go back and do the cave kayaking which looks phenomenal as well - make that a twice in a lifetime adventure! Thank you Wildland Belize Adventures for a truly memorable trip!
