Travel to Jaguar Paw, a tropical oasis situated beside the Branch River. Hike about 30 minutes to the launch site; along the way your guide shares information about the medicinal plants along the jungle path, and how they were used by the ancient Mayas and still used by locals today. Enjoy a relaxing float through a fascinating underground cave system, followed by a delicious lunch of local foods and fresh juices.

This is a gem of a place, with a fantastic display of beautiful butterflies. Sit and relax watching the hummingbirds or bring a picnic. A must do visit if you’re in the area or en route to Caracol. By visiting you’re helping to preserve the forest. Well done to the whole team

We stopped off en-route back to our hotel after visiting Barton Creek Caves and this was a great experience for us all. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable and were happy to spend time chatting about wildlife in general, not just butterflies. There were many
