Our group of 6 traveled from a villa in Placencia to the southern Maya Ruins. Rafi was our driver and tour guide for the day. He made the 1 1/2 hour van ride to and from the ruins very informative and interesting. His knowledge of the Mayan culture as we toured the ruins was excellent. We stopped between the ruins to a delicious lunch at this great place. He built the roof and the tables and chairs in the restaurant on top of everything. I've very surprised this is ranked so low since our group had such a great time. You won't be disappointed.
