Review of: Mayan Tours
This is my second time using Epic Mayan Tours. the second time around was just as good as the first if not better. Jenny and her team are outstanding. i highly recommend the cave tubing, it's a unique adventure you can't just do anywhere. Belize is a beautiful country with so much to see and offer. When choosing Epic Mayan tours, make sure you choose the activity that will give you the most if you can't do them all.

Review of: Mayan Tours
Our first communication was with Jenny through email and she was quick to respond to all of my questions. On the day of our tour Gerson arrived early and we headed to Xunantunich. You could instantly tell how much Gerson loves his country and his community and how he takes pride in his job as a tour guide. He pointed out many different things throughout our ride and even pulled over and grabbed a fruit off of a tree. We couldn’t figure out what it was at first and eventually learned it was a cashew. We arrived to Xunantunich and Gerson was extremely knowledgeable about the site and the history of it, pointing out things like poisonous trees and then the trees used to counteract the poison. We then stopped for lunch before heading to cave tubing. It was a beautiful walk through the forest before we arrived at the entrance of the cave. Gerson made the trek even more enjoyable with all of his stories. The cave tubing was amazing and he even had us pull over and climb through Crystal cave where we saw Mayan pottery remains and old ceremonial ashes. We then swam back to our tubes. The trip was truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to book another tour to see more of Belize. Definitely ask for Gerson!

Review of: Mayan Tours
I've gone on 2 private tours with Epic Mayan Tours and I'm very pleased! The tours are reasonably priced, very well organized, and the employees are very professional. My guide,  Gerson, was fantastic! He's personable, professional, genuinely enjoys his work, and has vast knowledge of the places we visited!

Review of: Mayan Tours
I emailed Jenny (owner) about customizing a tour and she was so accommodating. We paid a little more but we really wanted to visit Altun Ha & Nohoch Che’en caves (tubing) in one day since our time is limited as we were coming from MSC. With gas at $5 (US) per gallon, I totally understand the extra cost of driving us around. The direction she gives about where to meet is really good. If you have trouble figuring out where to go after you disembark, the folks at the port exit were super helpful. Our guide Gerson met us right outside the port exit. We really enjoyed spending the day with him. It was like hanging out with a friend. He was so knowledgeable about his country and the 2 places we visited. We also stopped at a roadside restaurant and had the best arroz con pollo (lunch is included). Gerson took some really cool pictures for us.
