Very overpriced despite being tax free, they put tax free everywhere to trick you into thinking it would be cheaper - but then give you a price only a tourist would pay. Makes no sense that a tax free area is more expensive than a...More

The Belize Tourism Village is a great hub for tourists and is located in one of Belize City's best locations on the sea shore and walking distance from downtown Belize City! It provides access to everything a tourist might need with water taxi, tours, shopping,...More

Very colorful and inviting place. There are many local shops to browse through. You can find lots of souvenirs to take back with you upon leaving.

Almost every stand or store is covered, many within air conditioned buildings. Not the friendliest locals. A variety of your average touristy products. Wifi available.

Outside of nice friendly folks at the stalls the big section is for cruise ship passengers only, with armed guards carrying attitude as well as guns.

Only spent about an hour here due to the length of our excursion, but this is your typical cruise port village. Lots of local gifts, T-shirts, alcohol, jewelry and such. People where friendly, live music, cold beer and good food.

The folks in Belize City are desperately poor. As a result, they are over anxious and tend to pressure you so much that you can't enjoy looking at anything. If you are like me you want to see all of the local wares before making...More

Very close - you are basically in the area when you arrive. Talk to the people around the ticket booth. Very helpful. Careful of all the people selling stuff. Most are good but keep your wits. You will be fine. Nice place.
