If you want to have an amazing zip lining experience- check out zip riders! Amy and Steven make the experience so enjoyable and make everyone feel comfortable! You get to zip line through the beautiful forest! We had people that had never done it before along with people that had done ziplining multiple times and everyone enjoyed their experience! When we come back to Belize we will pay Amy and Steven another visit!

Javier and Chop were great guides for our ziplining and river rafting tour. As older people, they carried our rafts for us as we walked through rainforest.

We have zip-lined in many places and were really looking forward to this one. While the course itself was fine, we couldn't enjoy it because the staff rushed us uncomfortably. We were apparently the last group of the day and the staff made it clear they wanted to go home. I can appreciate that, but we paid as much money as the first group of the day, and I hope that group got better service. We were concerned about safety, as well. The zip-rider in front hadn't even gotten unbuckled from his harness before they sent the next rider. While the staff may have been confident in the outcome, it made the rider very nervous. There was no safety briefing, virtually no instructions at all, other than "hurry, hurry, go, go." Other zip-line staff have told us how long each zip-line is, what the brake is like, what to look for, and other tips to help us enjoy the experience. Here we just felt like an imposition on the staff, not like guests or customers at all. We came away stressed and upset rather than delighted with the experience. So disappointed.

Response from actionboys, Manager at Belize Zip Line Canopy Tours

Hi from Belize Zipline Canopy Tours. This is to inform you that I am sure that you don’t do your tour through us. First of all, there are several zipline sites in Belize. All the zipline sites have different names. We offer strictly private tours, and if you don’t book directly through us you can’t get our services. We don’t partner with tour companies for business. We are the only zipline site that doesn’t do business with tour companies. My advice is to find the name of the company you booked through and post your gripes on their page. We stand strong by our high quality of services. You posted on the wrong page May God bless you

My husband and I (both in our 50s, in reasonable shape, from Florida) were first time zip liners and this was a terrific experience by the Belize Zip Line Canopy Tours! I can't recommend them more highly. They were the FIRST zip lining company in Belize and have recently seen a downturn due to the cruise lines changing ports. If you go to Belize itself, YOU NEED TO GO WITH THIS COMPANY! We signed up online, before our cruise in March 2018. Day was sunny and bright, somewhat humid. Transportation to the park was comfortable (tour bus) and tour guide spoke about Belize and its people on the way (about 70 minutes). [The transportation company is separate (although you just pay one fee) and does not reflect Beliize Zip Line Canopy Tours.] Once we arrived at the Park, we found the zip line guides to be THE BEST! They outfitted us directly and spoke English very well. Everyone in our small group (8 ppl) tried out the zip lining on a "beginner" line first before proceeding to the other higher platforms and lines, so if the beginner line isn't for you, you can stop there. There were seven lines altogether, one you go about 40 mph, two over a shallow river, and lots of steps in between to get to the platforms. I am scared of heights, but only got tense on the last platform. Safety was #1 and the guides were friendly, helpful, and always checked our equipment, telling us how to approach each line. Lunch was included - delicious BBQ chicken on the grill, rice and black beans, and coleslaw. Perfect and tasty! Served by the local ladies. Great experience for both of us! We want to keep these guys in business, so please consider them on your next trip to Belize - the REAL Belize - the original Belize Zip Line Canopy Tours.
