The boat ride to Lamanai ruins was fun. Although we were told we might see crocodiles or other wildlife, we think that the boat traffic and consequent noise keeps the birds and animals away. We saw nothing of great interest but, still, the ride was fun. The ruins are fairly large. Your boat captain will be your guide at the... More

If you are stopping by Belize, this is an absolute must. If booking through a cruise line, book it early, as it is popular and you don't want to miss out! It was a beautiful experience, being able to climb to the top of the largest temple was amazing. There is a mild amount of walking involved, and climbing the... More

We came by bus from Corozal and were met at the station and taken to he boat landing by one of the tour guides. He was very personable and we enjoyed his company all day. The trip up the river was peppered with stops to observe local wildlife and points of interest. The tour of the site was very interesting... More

Elvis is the man! He is the only tour guide you should ask for on this tour. We booked through the Carnival Breeze April 2017. He made the trip. Very knowledgeable about Belize and the ruins. My only suggestion is take at least 3 bottles of water per person and no flips. You will be walking about a mile on... More

My husband and I stayed at St. Georges Caye for 10-days and this day excursion was a highlight of our trip. We had a relaxing 20-minute Boat Ride enjoying the ocean and islands on the way to Belize City, followed by a 40-minute van ride to the river. Once we arrived at the river we were introduced to our guide,... More

This is a full day activity. It will take all of the port time that you have in Belize.... That being said, it is well worth it!! This was a spectacular tour. We had three tour guides on the bus. They were knowledgeable, entertaining and very accommodating to the group. We were met at the pier and boarded a bus... More

This excursion was the highlight of the trip for me. The ruins were incredible, or as our wonderful guide Elvis Usher would say “I is Un-Belizable”!! Elvis was fantastic, and I promised him that I would review this excursion. I am happy to fulfill my promise to him. If you have ever wanted to see Mayan ruins, This should be... More

We were staying at Casa Ricky's overnight in Orange Walk, and our host set us up with a tour through Reyes and Son's located right underneath the bridge. Amir our tour guide was excellent taking our time on the river showing us things like bats, crocodiles, and birds that other tour companies fly by. The food he provided, as well... More

Short hike to the temples. The path was smooth & easy to walk on, I would suggest good walking shoes. The guide stopped to point out local wildlife & plants. We could climb to the top of 2 temples, There were wood steps behind one of the temples. Had a great view from the top! Worth the climb. Could have... More

We took this tour at the suggestion of the owner of Coningsby Inn and we were not disappointed. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The view along the river was amazing. We experienced monkeys, crocodiles and different birds. Lamanai is breathtaking. The food the tour provided was incredible.
