We stopped in to this shop on our last afternoon on the island, and I am glad we did. We were able to purchase gifts and souvenirs that were made by local people, and the owner told us the background of the pieces we bought.

Neat place to shop for items to share with friends and family back home. The owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Great selection of bath, body and facial products.

The store is a little hard to find but worth the effort. All of the products are made in Belize and it is one if the few stores in the city that has a decent selection of books about Belize. The owner is very knowledgeable...More

Though the products are great the owner comes off pretty instense when describing the products. I’ve always been interested in nonnative people moving here and asked where she was from, which she told me after asking a couple times, asked why she gave a pretty...More

By googling Mayabags, I found 12 Belize, which prides itself on a vast selection of Belize made products. The range is vast, from jewelry to wood rafts, coffee and chocolate to my reason for going, Mayabags. Handmade by locals, the bags are one of a...More

This store looked intriguing online, so we went looking for it. It was hard to find- upstairs on the 2nd floor with limited signage. Once we found it, we were disappointed to find it closed even though online the hours were later. We did however...More

We stopped by 12 and emerged from this small but charming shop with all the gifts and souvenirs we needed. Local coffee, hot sauce, rum, skin products, and arts. The owner is enthusiastic about her products and knowledgeable about the artists and San Pedro in...More

12 Belize should definitely be one of your go-to stops for souvenirs; the shop is smaller than some others in San Pedro but all of its products are made in Belize, the prices are often less than elsewhere, the selection is unique and varied (definitely...More
