My husband and I escaped to Ambergris Caye for our 25th wedding anniversary. While driving from the airstrip to Victoria House we passed Asian Garden Day Spa. We briefly peeked into their garden courtyard and were so initially impressed that we knew we needed to scout it out. Later that day I met one of the owners, Brian, who is also one of the massage therapists. He showed us their beautifully appointed (and scrupulously clean) treatment rooms. However, once he mentoned they offer a couples massage in the courtyard in the evening, I was sold. They have two; one in the early evening and another a little later which offered a view of the night sky and stars. We opted for the latter.
Upon our arrival, the courtyard was illuminated by tikki torches which was stunning against the flowering plants and palms. The night breeze was just perfect. Background music was complemented by the natural, outdoor sounds of birds. It was so incredibly romantic.
Brian and his daughter, Kristin, are certified massage therapists. My husband wanted a deep tissue massage and said that Brian gave one of the best he had ever had. Kristin is very insightful and melted my knots and tension by applying smooth strokes mixed with pressure along energy lines. I learned later that Kristin and Brian learned traditional massage in London, and then studied in Thailand where they learned Thai massage. Kristin is also certified aesthetician and they offer a nice mix of facials and body scrubs.
Asian Garden is a family business, and they welcome you and treat you as family. They also provided us insight on their favorite restaurants (El Fogon and Casa Picasso)! Our visit to Asian Garden Day Spa was one of the most incredible experiences of our trip. Surprisingly, the spa is a new addition to the island but would certainly be a highlight of any visit to Ambergris Caye.

Thanks to tripadvisor my husband and I learned about Asian Garden Day Spa. We had the most wonderful experience there. We booked the twilight couple's massage and it was truly the best massage experience I've ever had -- even better than the couple's massage we had on the beach in Maui. Their courtyard is lovely and the massages were great! It was amazing looking up at the moon and stars while being massaged. They had a fun shower for us to use at the end and then we were off to the dinner reservation they so kindly arranged for us. We will definitely return!

Came to Asian Garden Day Spa based on the review here and was not disappointed! We booked the starlight couples massage and it was incredibly relaxing and beautiful. The courtyard in which they give the massages is really beautiful and a welcome escape from the busy streets of the island. Carmen and her husband were very nice in offering us ginger tea afterward and had a great conversation, exchanging our traveling stories! This place is a definite stop if you are in San Pedro...

This SPA was just georgous. The landscaping was incredible. The services we competitvely priced. The air conditioning leaves a little to be desired. It's hard to fully enjoy a service when you are hot. It was so nice to have a pedicure out of doors. This was my first one outside and I found it very relaxing. I would use their services again.

We visited Asian Garden Day Spa shortly after they opened in 2006 and we've been back every year as we bought a time share on the north island. We came initially for our honeymoon and experienced their couples massage which is the best we've experienced anywhere. We couldn't get in last year and tried a competitor nearby in a Belizean "strip mall" (It was disappointing...) I regret not having written a review earlier as we wanted to keep the place our little secret,, but it has become a "must do" you need to know about. Entering the garden is one of those transforming moments and to be able to spend an hour or two here is a highlight. Their therapists are as good as any I've tried and the services they offer are on par with a high end spa here in the States.

I did a girls trip to Belize and the hubby decided to surprise me when I got to the hotel. He had pre-paid for a treatment for me at the Asian Garden Day Spa. :)
When I got to the spa it was like entering a new world ... a more peaceful and tranquil world. I booked one of the first appointments of the day and I had the spa to myself. I don't really think this place ever gets too crowded. It's a very small spa maybe 4 treatment rooms at most. I think having a couples treatment here would be very romantic and was wishing that hubby was in Belize with me.
This is not the typical spa where they give you robes and slippers, the treatment just kind of starts in the treatment room and you undress and get under the covers.
The treatment was great, but I think the highlight would be the outdoor shower. It was cool to have that to myself and just take it all in.
Overall it was a great way to start the day. I was only able to snap one quick picture of the outdoor area before leaving. But trust me it is very gorgeous and Zen there.

Looks rundown from the outside, worse inside. we took one look around and decided it wasn't worth the $60 and the massage girls don't look like they know anything. People who are not trained should not try to manipulate bones/muscles.

This review seems to be false or based on another Spa. All of the facts are misplaced. The price that is quoted, is not our price for massage, We do not have therapists on site , service is based on reservation .The reviewer would not have met the therapists prior to service, WHICH SHE ADMITS SHE DID NOT STAY FOR...nor did she make a reservation.
All of our therapists are certified , mature therapists, with EIGHT years PLUS experience .
Asian Garden Day Spa is a well maintained, serene Spa that receives many comments on the beauty of the garden and courtyard , and cleanliness of the spa rooms and reception.
We specialize in Professional Deep Tissue treatments .

After weeks of traveling, I decided to splurge and booked a couples deep tissue sunset massage for my boyfriend and I. When calling for a reservation we asked what time they closed and she said 5pm, before asking what time we would like to come in. When we said 6pm, it was no problem at all. The owner Cindy, her daughter ZZ, and the staff greeted us upon arrival and we got right to business. There was no question that my masseuse had 15 years experience. Both ladies were very professional and one of a kind. For being in the center of town, the setting is surprisingly tranquil as soon as you enter the gate. The complimentary ginger tea was delicious. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend using Cindy's services.

Thanks to Trip Advisor I've fallen upon Asian Garden Day Spa. We checked out a number of the other places on the island and chose Asian Garden because it was exceptionally clean, stunningly beautiful, and a warm reception. My sister and I came for a spa package while the boys were out fishing. The two therapists were so professional and I couldn't believe we were in Belize! The massages were first rate, and they offer a good range of different facials. They went above and beyond the call of duty. Our treatments were delayed by about 15 minutes because the previous clients were late...so the girls threw in reflexology with their compliments! They're right near town and the only negative is that the refused to get in our suitcases and come home with us! We'll be back.

I had a perfect massage at this lovely spa. It is inside a beautifully designed, lush tropical courtyard. Everything is well maintained and staff is excellent and professional. I have experienced many massages and this was the best ever. There are a number of other spa services available as well.
