We have upon this business 15 years ago when a girlfriend booked it for us for eight people everybody got sick and we were the only two able to go however it wound up being the best thing ever. We have used their services for every year since that we have been down to Belize and that is sometimes once a year or twice a year. First of all, I have to say the other survivor tour is a must must must.! After we did that for a couple years we ventured into the deep sea fishing and I know what you all are thinking oh, you pay this high price you don’t cash no fish not with these guys every single year we have caught something and not just something many things. I cannot recommend them enough whether you want to do shallow water inside of the reef fishing excellent time or if you wanna actually venture out and do deep water fishing even better time oh, and by the way, they will work with you and let you make up your own adventure

I took my son on this same tour back in 2019 and hyped it up to the family as being an awesome excursion…..well, 6 years later with my wife it was just as perfect. Captain Manny and Cliff his First Mate picked us up on the dock at Rum Dog which was 2 minutes away from our AirBNB. We started out the trip by catching our own live bait and then heading out to the reef to do some fishing. We caught some snapper and barracuda and Manny and his crew did a great job teaching us how to properly fish on the reef. After that, we went free diving in 6 feet of water for conch and lobster and Manny made conch ceviche for us right on the boat. It was the best I’ve ever had. After we caught lunch, Manny brought the boat to a private family owned spot on shore. Manny and Cliff grilled up our catch, it’s pretty amazing to be eating seafood that you caught just less than an hour ago, the taste was phenomenal.
Totally worth the time spent and money paid, these guys made you feel special.

Wow!!! What an experience! I was fortunate enough to spend a couple of days fishing, snorkeling, conch diving, lobster spearing, etc. etc. with the BEST guides in Ambergris Caye. I chose to go with Seakarus Tours based off of all of the other great reviews on Trip Advisor. That was one of my smartest decisions I've ever made when it comes to picking a fishing guide. For full disclosure, I also part time guide myself in Oregon. I have our areas pretty dialed in so our success rate at home is usually pretty good for fishing and crabbing. When I normally go with a guide in different parts of the world I am almost always disappointed because I have more success back home because I have had 20 years to get it all dialed in.
This was the first trip I've been on that EXCEEDED expectations. Manny and his wife just had a baby girl (congrats Manny!) so he was in France when I had my trips booked. He was still in constant contact the entire time and running the operation behind the scene. He had captains Cliff and Will run the boat while I was there. These guys are a couple of work horses that are on top of everything. After spending 2 days with them on the boat they would definitely be two guys I would always invite to go fishing with me back home. They are humble, hard working and extremely knowledgeable. You will feel like you've known them your entire life once you meet them.
If you book a trip with Seakarus I would recommend bringing some tackle or equipment you can donate to them. Whenever I travel and go fishing with a guide I always make a point to bring things I can leave with them. Fishing gear is expensive in general but is usually 40% more expensive in remote areas. If you can swing leaving some gear behind with the guys they really appreciate it. More than most think. They had everything needed for our trips, I just think it's really appreciated when others leave the crew some new gear for future trips.
You can't go wrong with this crew. I will be back in October with the rest of my family and we will be going out with Manny, Will and Cliff. I can't wait!

Captain Manny and his crew where great hosts and made it a very special day for us. From catching lobsters, swimming with rays, snorkeling through the reef and reeling in lots of fish we had a wonderful time. Then the ceviche and fish they made came out amazing. Even the kids that don't eat SEAFOOD couldn't stop going back and getting more. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

My husband and I had a great time with Manny and Clifford, they are friendly and make you feel right at home. We did the Survivor Tour which did not disappoint.
Manny and Clifford had a number of fish they wanted us to catch and made sure we reached our goal. My husband had not gone fishing in 30 years but with Manny & Clifford's guidance he caught 5 fish.
Everything we caught was prepared at a beach BBQ and was delicious. Manny's conch ceviche was so good, I don't think I'll ever find ceviche that taste better. So if you're ever in San Pedro, Belize going on a Seakarus Tour is a must.
Thank you Manny & Clifford for making our trip to San Pedro an experience we will never forget.

The day started off shaky on account of our golf cart breaking down after getting some necessities and gas in town, Manuel was very understanding and prompt to come pick us up when he said he would. Clifford was a great wealth of knowledge and encouragement on our survivor challenge trip. Overall the experience was great and all inclusive, the boys at seakarus know what they’re doing and have gained customers for life with me and my family.

We recently returned from a 10 day trip to San Pedro, Belize. We can safely say our two best days were spent with Manny, Cliff, and Gordo. We did the full day survivor tour and the full day Hol Chan/Caye Caulker tour. Seakarus tours goes above and beyond to create amazing memories. We spoke to other tourists who did similar tours with other companies and they did not have nearly as great of an experience as we did. I highly recommend Seakarus you will not be disappointed.

AMAZING! We recently did the all day Hol Chan/Shark-Ray/Caye Caulker trip with Mannie and Cliff. We had 13 adults and enjoyed every minute! They picked us up directly from our resort north of San Pedro and away we went. Their local knowledge of the sea and land was shared with us as we toured the beautiful areas. They made DELICIOUS fresh made ceviche onboard and were courteous, fun and professional. We’d rebook with them in a heart beat! Thank you to giving us such a memorable trip!

Thank you Clifford and Manny for a fabulous day! Highly recommend these guys for any excursion out in the sea. We never felt rushed and they made sure we knew our day was built around what we wanted. We were picked up at our resort and taken from one end of the Caye to the other to find the best fishing and snorkeling areas. The food that was prepared on the beach was amazing, especially the lobster we caught. We brought our 3 kids and they did an amazing job with them!

Did anyone book this tour months in advance or book once arriving in Belize? I have attempted to book a tour on specific dates in December, but haven't gotten a clear response other than the run down of the tour and what to expect.
Written November 3, 2018
hi i got the run down as well and then was asked to drop off deposit at their relatives ice cream shop in san pedro on arrival. I know it sounds funny but they are a low frills great team.

Can someone give me a price on 1/2 day of fishing?
Written June 11, 2018
I would call them directly and ask. We had 4 people and paid $600 ($150 ea) for an all day trip with all food and drinks included (did some snorkleing and had lunch on their private beach, too.) Good time!

What is your policy if the charter is canceled due to weather? I booked a trip on the 14th and the weather does not look great... I've tried to get a hold of someone there but no luck so far.

We were told the same thing on our outing-if weather is bad or rainy, they don't go out.

Good afternoon, if coming in on a cruise ship in July, what times are the 1/2 day excursions and what kind of fish can be expected? Need to fish!!
thanks.

8:30 am and 1:30 pm, I believe for reef fishing.
Expect to catch lots of snapper and a few Jack Crevalles.

We're arriving tomorrow afternoon. 6 adults, 2 kids.
Can you handle 8 of us on a survival tour? Let's make a deal.

A single fisherman, might be able to find a partner. How much $ for a half or full day?
Written October 7, 2016
There are different options available, I no longer have the email so this might not be exact but I think it was something like:
half day fishing $250
half day fishing/beach bbq/snorkeling $400
Those are the two trips we did when we went in may 2016 so I'm pretty sure that is what we paid.
Then I think there was a full day fishing trip $400? Not real sure about that.
Best bet is to email them using the contact link on the email, they Manny was very responsive.

This looks like a lot of fun. A small boat though. Is there a bathroom? Didn't look like there's room. Any tips or info if we take this tour?
Written September 2, 2015
Wear your bathing suit, there is a ladder off the back. They have Bluetooth on the boat so if you have a device with music bring it. The guys were great, you won't be disappointed.
