Hol Chan SunSet Experience

This experience is one of a kind on Caye Caulker. We cruise onboard a sport fishing yacht and is the best value for money as there are three major snorkel stops (Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley and The Channel) along with a sunset experience.

A gentleman in our hotel recommended we visit this place for the “best burger.” it was a karaoke night, which seemed like a lot of fun even though my husband hates karaoke. He ordered the roadkill sandwich which was beef, chicken, & barbecue. He said his was delicious. I just ordered a cheeseburger. It was the worst sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I have no idea what that meat was, but it was NOT ground up hamburger. It was full of hard chewy things like gristle. The french fries were great. But the sandwich was very disgusting. Totally lives up to its name.

If you're coming to San Pedro, Belize for a vacation, chances are you are here to eat, drink, relax and slow down to island time. You can do it all at the Roadkill bar! You'll see exactly what I mean below... The food is very Americanized and reasonably priced with excellent Burgers and Fries. The tacos are very cheap and basic but do the trick. The beer is cold and the rum is well... rum. It is in the Caribbean after all :) My only complaint about the Roadkill bar is that you must slow down to Belize time or else you will go crazy waiting for your food here. We had a decent sized order with about 4 burgers, 3 orders of fries, and 6 tacos. We waited 50 minutes from the time we placed our order till the timer for came out. Their Burgers and Fries are made to be very reminiscent of the typical American fast food chains, and even their flagship burger is named "Big Gringo" as the burger is a knock-off Big Mac. However it takes literally about 10 TIMES as long to get your Big Gringo than it would to get a Big Mac back in the USA. This is not my first time eating here and every time the food has been delicious but incredibly slow for a fast-food Style bar. Perhaps it's just so that you buy more more drinks as you wait, I dont know. Otherwise I would recommend trying it out when you visit San Pedro, but just make sure you're not in a hurry to get anywhere. Again, just relax and chill... you're on island time.

We went for Taco Tuesday. The lime juice was good but otherwise I wouldn’t suggest this place for Tacos unless you’re drunk.

Located right off the main road in town the Road Kill offers up a good photo opportunity but not much more. The food was average, drinks ok, and service blah.
