We hired this company for a full day of fishing, snorkeling with the sharks, and a picnic where our guide cooked the fish we caught.
We had Marvin Bradley as our guide and he was the best! Knowledgeable and fun to be with. He is also a fabulous cook. We caught several fish and Marvin dived for lobster. Hands down the best meal we have ever had on any of our many vacations. Highly recommend him. He knows what he is doing.

Ovel set us up with an amazing day at Atlun Ha Mayan ruins and cave tubing. Our guide Paul was outstanding. Lunch at a great little roadside restaurant was very enjoyable. Thanks Ovel for making this happen on very short notice!

Spent a great day with Tarique as our guide. The cave tubing was great and not at all crowded. Then we went to see the Mayan ruins. Tarique was great to spend the day with and shared a lot about the history of the Mayans in the region

Jordan and Vince were amazing guides. They were very knowledgeable and made me feel extremely comfortable during my first time snorkeling. Definitely recommend booking if you want an unforgettable experience in San Pedro!

If you're going to Belize, you MUST visit the Mayan Ruins! Our tour guide, Tarik, was phenomenal! I just cannot give him enough praise. He was so knowledgeable, fun, smart, and funny! He really made this experience amazing. We felt safe with him and that really meant a lot since we were climbing and hiking very high altitudes. He is truly a pro! We visited the Xunantunich temple and Cahal Pech and really enjoyed it. Thank you so much, Ridge & Reef staff You all are so amazing! We cannot wait to come back.

So this was actually our second time out with Abraham during our stay here in Belize this week. The first time was amazing, but the second time was beyond what we could have imagined. We recently had the most incredible snorkeling experience that left us in awe of the underwater world. From the moment we dipped our masks below the surface, we were greeted by a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors. The crystal-clear turquoise waters embraced us as we swam alongside a myriad of tropical fish, their iridescent scales glistening in the sunlight. Each stroke revealed a new spectacle, with coral reefs teeming with life and intricate formations that seemed like works of art sculpted by nature itself.
As we floated gracefully above the coral gardens, we couldn't help but feel a profound sense of tranquility and wonder. Time seemed to stand still as we absorbed the beauty around us. Our snorkeling experience was truly unforgettable, leaving an indelible mark on the soul. I highly recommend embarking on a snorkeling adventure-it's an enchanting journey that will stay with you long after you resurface. Plus I dropped my phone in the ocean and he actually found it and saved it!!!

We did the cave tubing, Mayan Temples and another day we did the snorkeling sand bar relaxation on the catamaran boat; it was AMAZING, this is the first time that I’ve left a review and it is because the whole experience was unbelievable, one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life, I am not kidding or exaggerating, the customer service was top notch, they make you feel like a king; they work so hard to give you the best experience, the food they made on the boat was delicious and believe me if I say so because I am a picky eater. We went with a group of 8 friends and we all thought that this tour experience is one of a kind, I truly recommend this to anyone, they were honest, kind, fun, amazing cooks…they are great! If you are looking for an amazing experience, definitely choose them.

There are many quality agencies to book adventures through in Belize but what sets Ridge & Reef Adventures apart is their emphasis on personalizing your adventure to what you really want and how you want to experience it. We met the owner, Ovel Leonardo, through the recommendation of a bar tender (San Pedro is a very word of mouth type of place) and it sounded promising however Ridge & Reef's building had already been closed for a few hours. That's when we figured out that just cause their office is closed does not mean they are. We were able to get in contact with the owner Ovel and he told us to pick a bar or restaurant to meet at and he would be there in 40 minutes. Ovel sat and talked to us for over an hour, he gave us his back ground, some of his favorite sites to see and then he asked what we were really looking for. We booked an amazing snorkeling trip and the ATM Caves tour through him. We told him that if possible we wanted to be in small group tours (which is what they specialize in) or just our group, he made that happen in both cases. The tours were life experiences that I wont forget and was able to do them in a group of just my close friends. One thing that majorly impressed me with Ovel was that he literally mapped out how we could see the Mayan ruins on our own time and gave us a few good places to rent vehicles from... they offer these tours but he sat and helped us map out our own experience that they would not see a dime for. The owners of Ridge & Reef Adventures are true professionals and genuinely want to make sure your Belize experience is unforgettable and what you want, not just a cookie cutter experience. From true adventurer seekers to people just looking for a laid back experience these are the people to see for sure!

We chartered a catamaran for a full day earlier in the week through a different company and had Abraham as our guide. He mentioned his cousin, Ovel, had a boat that could take us from South Ambergris Caye to Secret Beach…which was a much better option than a bumpy 1.5 hour golf cart ride. Cyle and Abraham picked us up at Pelican Reef Resort at 10:00 and we headed to Blue Bayou on Secret Beach to have a drink under a palapa in the water. It was so much fun hanging out there that we stayed about 2.5 hours before heading back. We stopped at a small deserted beach on the way back. It was a great way to end our week long vacation!

Ovel, the owner, was extremely accommodating and communicative! We actually added the Altun Ha ruins to our tour and he made it happen.
Kenton, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and fun. He made us very comfortable and we had a great time. Highly recommend!
