Eric (owner) helped us with a more custom trip and was very accommodating. We had wanted more time on Caye Caulker and rather than have us take the ferry back, he agreed to just let us stay longer at no extra charge. I had taken this same tour 2x in the past and it was a fun day to finish the trip on (esp since we can't dive on the final day). Enrique, Lyndon and Joe we all very good and made sure we understood the marine reserve rules and were comfortable with the equipment (there were some new snorkelers in the group for the first portion of the tour). All the stops were different and worthwhile (Hol Chan, shark ray alley, coral gardens, manatees, tarpon feeding, sea horse breeding area and Caye Caulker). We didn't see a manatee this time, but I have seen them on a previous trip. I think you have to go early but that would conflict with seeing the sharks/rays early so it's a toss up. Caye Caulker is a fun, laid back place with a few nice galleries and lots of places to eat. It's worth 2-3 hours for sure.

Be careful. This seems like a shady operation. I see reviews saying Erick uses other guides, which is true. These other local guides are great, but you can get a far better deal booking with them directly once you know your way around. Erick plays middle man and skims off the top for a living. He promises the world and talks a good game. He continuously tries to upsell you once you buy one tour. You can have all the beer and rum punch you can drink, but the cooler does not necessarily reflect that promise. I asked a lot of questions and the answers changed. As did the prices. Bottom line-I just don’t trust him.

Best snorkeling. Best tour guides. 10/10 would recommend the full day tour...it just KEPT GOING in the best way! We saw manatees, turtles, rays, nursery sharks, sea horses, and the most beautiful coral garden. It was UNREAL. The tour guides pointed out all the marine life and made sure we were all happy with proper equipment. Plus, the stop at Caye Caulker was the perfect end to a great day.

I loved the things I did get to see. And I guess I don't really know what I missed with the things we didn't get to see. Took two tours. Felt like I was promised the world and it wasn't all delivered. Our snorkel trip was very disorganized. There were two guides but really only one both guided and gave the tour, not sure what the second's responsibility was even though he was introduced as "captain." In the water, there were no hand motions instructed as on previous snorkel trips I have taken and it was difficult to follow our guide (some of that was indeed other tourist inflicted). Happy lobster was a poor choice for lunch as it took way too long and we did not get time to explore Caye Caulker The trip to the mainland included Ruins, ziplining, cave tubing and was told as a bonus, crystal cave. We never got to crystal cave. Brown sugar, however, was such an awesome guide. Both trips felt rushed and both "guides," and some point in their respective yours, became short tempered which creates an uncomfortable environment.

We had so much fun. Blinky, Shameer, and Eric were the best guides we could ask for. Snorkeling was so much fun, we spotted turtles, stingrays, sharks, and all kinds of fish. The guys were kind enough to point the different sea life out for us in the water. We had a group of 12 and they made sure we were all safe and comfortable. One of our friends dropped her sunglasses in the water and Shameer was even kind enough to jump in and grab them. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely book with them again.
