This dinner food tour was the highlight of our family vacation! To be able to taste so many local and traditional dishes (with drinks at each stop) was the best experience. Melva was AMAZING! She was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much historical context at every stop. This is must do activity on your next trip to Belize!

We so enjoyed our food tour with Melva! We were delightfully STUFFED! She was extremely knowledgeable of history and definitely a foodie! Each location was truly delicious! From the rum punch to the fry jacks and the chocolate to the rum cremes with incredible tamales on front street to Lilys!

Having a local who was born and raised on Ambergris Caye as our tour guide gave the whole event an even more homeliee feeling. The tour with 7 tastings around lunch time was perfectly planned, we did not wait at all after arriving at the different places. The dishes and locations differed so that you could get a decent and tasteful insight into Belizean cuisine. Chicken and fish lovers will receive the whole lot;) - but there are options for vegetarians and non-dairy variants for my friend were not a problem, either. You will highly enjoy it and Rigi, our guide, did a superb job in taking care of us and answering our questions on food and life on San Pedro.

Our tour guide Melva was fantastic! She not only taught us about local cuisine, she also told us the stories behind the restaurants we visited and the people who prepared our food. We did the lunch tour and enjoyed every stop. Be sure to go hungry—Belizean “tasting portions” are not small!!

I just got back from San Pedro and one of the activities we did was a Dinner Tour. It was so much fun. We met our small group and away we went. There were small portions at all of our stops, but by the end I was full. Each stop had a beverage and I sipped many Panty Rippers. Our guide was fun, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Each time we got to a new place, we sat with different people in our group. We met some "new friends" in that one night. I would highly recommend doing one of these Food Tours. I would do it again!
