Great once in a lifetime adventure. I was very nervous about diving the Great Blue Hole, but the dive shop that took us (Amigos Del Mar) placed me at ease with all of their preparedness around safety. The blue hold itself is a quick (about 30 minute) dive. We reached a depth of about 135 feet for 8 minutes before... More

I'm glad I dove the Blue Hole, it's a must. You'll only need to do it once though, after you've seen it, you won't need to go back. The other two dives were excellent as well, great coral and great sea life.

This is an AMAZING place. You do not have to be a diver to appreciate The Blue Hole. If you are a snorkeler, go on a dive boat and snorkel the rim. Swim across the hole. It will still be AMAZING. Divers, this is a magic place. Don't hesitate. A must do if you go to Ambergris. A dive boat... More

My husband dove here and I snorkeled. For my husband the caves in the blue hole were stunning and a one of a kind experience. There was not much sea life, but that wasn't why you were there. As a snorkeler I really enjoyed the reef. Lots of fish and crabs and our guide even showed us a Queen Conch... More

We went out to the Lighthouse Reef while staying at Turneffe Flats. They do a full day dive that includes the Blue Hole and then lunch and a dive at Lighthouse Reef. The group of us out of Turneffe Island had done the Blue Hole and we agreed as a group to just do 2 dives at Lighthouse Reef, lunch... More

A must destination for experienced divers. There is not much life inside the Blue Hole, although we had a marvelous encounter with a few sharks that came close to check what were we. The visibility is great and the rock formation is amazing. One of the best dives in the Caribbean.

I went out w/Amigos Del Mar dive co had a BLAST! It seems everyone works very well together to keep all visitors both safe & happy while keeping this area pristine. My experience was wonderful both under & above water. I am not sure which was my favorite dive only because each was so different......water temp, 80 degrees, wonderfully warm... More

Being able to say you dove into the blue hole is not something many can say they did. This place is beautiful. Although looking at the blue hole from the surface when you are there versus what it looks like from the sky are two different views it is still amazing.

Price tag may seem steep but experience is with it, with 3 different stops. The blue hole is awesome whether you're snorkeling or scuba diving, though not the best part of the day. Best is the wall for scuba diving at Half Moon Caye. Lunch there with a final stop at a third Caye is wonderful full day. Saw a... More

This is a justifiably world famous natural wonder. There is another blue hole in the Red Sea but this is apparently the greatest. We took a Tropic Air scenic flight in a high winged Cessna with large windows- it was fantastic.
