We loved this beautiful Mall! There is a very diverse selection of stores with something for everybody. Both young and old have many choices of where to shop to fit their needs. Would love to go at Christmas time and stay in the hotel, but its pricey. It also stays sold out a lot. Can't wait to go back and shop some more!

Avalon is a great spot to visit. There are tons of great restaurants and loads of really great shopping. There is even valet parking if you need it. It is a very well thought out place and one that I always enjoy visiting.

The employees are the rudest people i have ever met in my life. me and my friend went to the ice skating rink and bought tickets through the QR codes. It took her money but did not give us tickets. So we go to ask an employee what to do. He tells us it will “bounce back in two or three days” and we try to explain our bank should have returned it immediately because thats how our specific bank works. And also we just spent 40 dollars and as highschool seniors that’s like half our bank account and if there’s a way we can physically get the tickets instead. This employee looks at me, has to be at most 16 years old, and tells me “i’ve worked at a bank and that’s not how that works” and i just stand there because yeah okay i’m sure you have. So we just walk away so we get my older sister to help us. and he then ACTUALLY explains what we should do to her and has a completely new attitude and i’m just so confused because where was that when i was asking the same thing?? because he essentially told me he didn’t know and he couldn’t help me. which okay. i get it. you hate this job but come on dude. So we try buying the tickets again after that. and all the slots are taken up because this dude spent 30 minutes being an unhelpful 😁 instead of just telling us what we needed to do. So we don’t go ice skating which is fine because the rink was infested with small children slipping and falling and it had at least 4 water puddles that looked like it drown half those kids. So moral of the story? save your 40 dollars and go somewhere cheaper and better with nicer employees.

If you are looking for very overpriced bland shopping, poor planning, and horrid parking, you have found it. Many chain stores, though not all are.
As this is not a closed in mall, you get to bake in the Georgia heat in the summer, and fully enjoy the pollen, rain, etc.
Most people go to see and be seen - it's a showoff hub and not really a shopping experience.
Take Uber in and out as parking is all but unattainable, especially on a good weather evening.
I live in Alpharetta and avoid this rip-off place at all costs.

Creepy person demanded $75 to remove the boot on my car after I came out from whole foods @ Avalon. If wholefoods don't want people to shop at this store, please put up a BIG NEON signs that says :" if you shop here, you will be subject to pay $75 in fines"...and that is what I would call "a proper disclosure".
Innocent consumers can't see your black and white sign in the dark, I hope you realize this is equivalent to robbing people blind. Great Job, Whole foods, you really do know how to make a customer feel violated. This family and their friends will NEVER shop at any of the whole foods locations again!

New parking meters only work with an APP that does not currently share their privacy policies. No option for coins. My 98 year old mom just wanted to wait in the car while I made a 5 min purchase in one store. After leaving the parallel space due to the new meters. We never could find a space in the parking garage where she felt comfortable sitting by herself in the car so we left the property. Not comfortable setting up an APP linked to my credit card with no privacy policies. Another bad parking experience at Avalon.

I only needed to make an exchange (for size) at Marmi.I circled for more than 30 minutes around the lot, deck, and metered parking with no luck. Since I also needed to shop at Whole Foods I ended up parking there, going to Marmi for the quick exchange, then placing my bag in the car, and doing my shopping in Whole Foods. After I drove away I realized there was paper on my windshield which ended up being a $45 parking violation that said "left property not a patron." I actually was a patron, but will not be back. What a disgraceful way to treat paying customers.

I was having an extremely trying day on 6/22/22. There were 3 gentleman at The Avalon Hotel who worked in valet that really touched my heart! 💝
One gentleman with a curly Afro saw I was very upset and sat a water next to me and smiled. It may sound like a small gesture to someone but it was huge to me. I had been sitting there for hours on a bell cart trying to sort a problem. (From about 9:30am-7pm) Then came two more angels Solomon and John who sat and talked with me throughout the day and encouraged me. They found me a charger for my cell phone. It was my business cell, so I really needed it. John even gave me 20 dollars and offered valet to take me to get food because they knew I had not eaten since the day before because they cared enough to ask. I was unsure where my belongings were moved to, which included my purse. I just want to give a big THANK YOU and let everyone know that these staff members put a big ray of sunshine in a cloudy day for me. They are a complete asset to your company and I would 1000% be back at this hotel and tell everyone I know to also visit this hotel! Please tell these 3 sweet gentleman how much I appreciate them!!!

This place is just about 2 miles from my home. It is a wonderful place to shop, dine, relax, and take in a movie or outside event. I take my grands there when they visit for the summer. The teenagers walk around and shop while the little ones play in the indoor/outdoor play area. There is something for everyone. I love it durng the Christmas holiday season when the ice skating rink is open.

Not sure if you are still in our area but, if you are, I would suggest that you call Seurity at Avalon (770-765-3000) or Avalon's onsite concierge (770-765-1000) and see if they can help.
