Calling this an acoustic living room is accurate. We went to the Earth Wind and Fire tribute which was packed to the gills and the space was no bigger than any other storefront in the strip mall, maybe smaller. The stage was barely big enough...More

This ‘acoustic living room’ was recommended by the receptionist at our hotel. So pleased we went. Professional booking, welcoming front of house, attentive staff. Lucky to hear The Real Deal, an NYC based flugelhorn muso with backing Israeli guitarist and US drummer. They played originals...More

My husband and I visited the Velvet Note twice and decided to buy tickets for my Dad's 75th birthday. I bought 4 tickets 6 weeks in advance of the show. After purchasing the tickets, I did not receive any type of confirmation - nothing via...More

The food is mediocre. The music is what you go to the Velvet Note for. The table arrangement leaves much to be desired. You feel jammed into the space. The stage should be elevated so that people in the back of the venue can at...More

It's ok the music is good but I find that the environment is way too tight. The food is served over your head. People are packed into a small place like cattle. And the owner carried an attitude of indifference because she know she cannot...More

The Velvet Note is like sitting in someone's living room with fifteen variously sized dining tables. The Jazz was superb and food, wine and service very good. Highly recommend!
