We visit this state park campground at least once a year, sometimes twice. It's our favorite state park and we drive six hours to get to it. Large campsites, some with full hookups. Several are very private. Beautiful large well manicured grounds to toss a football, etc. We were there during the week and they were taking down any dead trees/limbs in the campground, which we appreciated. Lots of birds and gopher tortoises for photographing. Hundreds of buzzards roost in the trees outside the campground and they will put on a show for you early in the mornings. Great place for riding bikes, hiking, geocaching, fishing. Plus the little town of Adel has some good locally owned restaurants. Only a short distance to the South Georgia Motorsports Park and Valdosta. If you are there during the Christmas season, the nearby town of Moultrie's lights are beautiful too. Burton Brooks Peach Orchard is an easy drive and has the best peach ice cream ever. Only negative would be that there are a lot of gnats and ants during the warmer months, but that's the norm for south Georgia.

We arrived mid week and the campground was pretty empty. It was very quiet which was nice. The roads within the park are paved, wide and very easy to navigate with a 37’ fifth wheel. We had pull through site #30 with full hookups. Having sewer onsite is always a bonus! The lake is gorgeous and we would have rented a canoe but the weather was too cold for us. The trails weren’t long but they were clear and well marked - a nice stroll through nature. Not a ton of activities to do but we were looking for a quiet trip to relax and this was perfect.

We stayed overnight in Reed Bingham SP and was shocked at how large the RV sites were. First, to have a pull through site at a state park is nice. Having a MASSIVE pull through site is incredible. The park was also immaculately maintained.

Sadly, it rained the entire day we were here but we do plan to visit again eventually to explore all the park offers.

Beautiful park. We only stopped for one night on the way up to NC & TN and one night on way home to SW FL. We get there around 5ish set up camp and it only gives us about an hour to explore the park. We were able to do the Little River trail which is really neat. Cool boardwalk and some of the hike is right up on the river (I was a little scared looking out for gators) . We can't wait to come back and hike more and canoe the Little river. The camp spots are big some of them are right out in the open with very little privacy. It looks like the back in spots along the outside are the very best. I had spot 28 which was ok and 45 which was better. Also, just outside the campground is an AWESOME restaurant...... worth walking, biking or driving over to.

Beautiful Park near Adel, Georgia. Bring bug spray! Our pull-thru full hook up site, number 28, was large; level; gravel; well spaced from other campers; partially shaded; gravel patio; grass area; with a picnic table and firepit. There is no wifi at campground, but there is cable TV with about 20 channels. Cell phone service was adequate. There is mini golf, a lake, volleyball, playground and clean bathhouses. Firwood is available for purchase, but it is $8.99 (the most expensive firewood we’ve had at any campground0. There are several trails and it’s a nice place to ride a bike. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

I have been wanting to paddle-in and camp with my hammock here for a while. I had the chance this past Thursday afternoon to take my paddle board and hammock. When I arrived I noticed a full bag of trash next to a full trash can. I then walked to check out the out house restroom and noticed how dirty it was with spiders and cobwebs with no toilet paper, but I did find a wet soggy roll laying in the campsite in the very tall grass that has not been cut. Then the roaches that were all over the trash bags and then flying into my hammock
The response I got from the main office when I complained when I was checking out was their boat has had some issues and have not had a chance to get out there and clean it up, but they sure have time to take my money !!

We stopped for one night on our way home from a 2 month RV trip out West. We liked the park. It was July so really too hot to enjoy much of anything but we would come back. The campsites were great; large and some even had full hookups. We liked our site 27.

Great place for picnic. Large gopher turtles. Neat and clean campground. Lots of picnic tables, easy activities. Beautifully maintained. Wild areas to hike. Great lake to boat or fish. We enjoyed our visit.

This place has turned unto a sit hole. Problems the last three times we camped here. First, it was kids riding golf carts around the camp loop road like they were on a race track. Next time, it was the park manager’s dogs running loose barking and chasing people. This time, it’s teenage boys on e-bikes running wide open through campsites. We couldn’t even let our small dog be tied outside with us at our own campsite because these kids were riding e-bikes at a fast rate of speed across the grass within a few feet of our picnic table. Apparently there is no longer anyone keeping order at this park and it has become a free for all. It’s such a shame because they have spent a lot of money upgrading the campsites. Everything looks nice, but looks can be deceiving.
