With it being winter in Florida finding cheap golf courses is difficult. Have been getting emails from this course for several years so decided to try it out.
We thought we were getting better at golf as have been playing at several communities with their own courses and shooting decent scores.
Staff were all friendly and helped us get to where we needed to be.
This is about 45 minutes from Sarasota and Fort Myers area. Longer drive than we usually take to golf but with the cheap rates it was worth it. $26.75 for a round of golf including cart.,most places are over $50 this time of year.
We playd from the gold tees and the yardage is about 6200 yards. They have 4 tee choices.
The fairways were in great shape but around the greens it was a little rough. The greens themselves were ok though.
Parts of the course are a nature preserve so we saw a lot of wildlife mainly birds but still nice.
They do have warnings about gators and rattlers but these are common in most wooded areas of Florida. Just be observant and you should be fine.We did get lost finding the tenth tee ,its just a long drive from 9 and back the opposite direction.
We were early for our tee time but able to get right on.
Other than some bozo hitting one of our golf balls we had a good time.
We dedcided to get there earlier and try breakfast in the snack shop,it smelled great.

We were enjoying the course until repeatedly the staff commenced turning the sprinklers on the greens we were approaching. It got ridiculous! We had to wait for them to turn off and finally just skipped two greens due to their antics!

The improvements of Paradise Golf Course are wonderful making the course so much better than before. I won't expand on the overall improvements just go and enjoy a new experience and I'm sure you will return. The course had 12 holes when I was there but soon I understand 18 holes will appear very soon. Because of the new improvements the fee was only 10 bucks to play all day plus cart Hard To Beat That. Anyway don't wait go see for yourself. Oh I understand the course was purchased by a professional golf instructor just another plus . Almost turkey day and I'm going the play a few rounds of golf before my turkey gets cold

This course is for sale that has been reduced from 18 holes to 9. It is way to expensive for 9 holes and they have chosen some holes from the back 9 and some from the front 9 so the holes are very far apart. Must take a cart and can't walk anymore. They do not manage Tee times well and allow groups to bunch up. Stay away

Despite booking two days in advance, we found 3 groups ahead of us at the first tee.

At $19 dollars for golf groupon green fees, we thought we couldn't go wrong. How wrong we were!!. It was like playing in a badly rutted farmer's field although the farmer's field would have much more grass. We had to move our ball to a grassy spot before playing. And this was on the "fairways".

Everywhere badly needed water although the dry conditions helped the ball to move further.

Advice to golfers: pay more money for a better course

Nice golf course off the beaten path.. Barb in the Pro Shop and Ray the" starter" made us feel so welcomed. Fairways and greens were very well kept. We will be back this golf season.

Played there Saturday and found the course essentially a very good course! For us high handicappers it proved to be a fun course. The champion tees are well hidden from the fairway but the blues and ladies tees are definitely playable!
The greens were just aerated so they are rough. This is normal for this time trying to get ready for the winter crowd. No problem, the fairways are nicely manicured.
I would definitely give it a whirl!!

We played golf at the cost of $48
Way overpriced for the conditions. Hard dirt no grass and plenty of red
Ants. There are so many other really nice courses in the area this is the one to avoid when visiting.
I played Sunnybreeze years ago and always enjoyed it. Too bad it's in sad shape now.

Played Sunnybrook Golf Course in Arcadia 1/14/16. I picked the course from the internet because it is halfway from my friend's home in Port Charlotte. The condition of the course does not justify green fees of $45. The fairways were rough and weedy, and the greens were hard and spotty. The range was also in poor condition. On the positive side, the pro shop, lunchroom and restrooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was good.
