We were looking forward to our night stay here lastnight. On arrival at 1:30pm me and my family of 2 small children were greeted with a note to say that we would not be able to check in till 4pm as motel was unattended. I had paid a 90dolar deposit. It was poring down with rain and my child was sick we had no other option but to go elsewhere. When i went there to ask for a refund the owner refused! He was rude and his manners and customer service were apauling! I do not reccomend this motel! And i did not get my money back!

On a whim we drove with friends of ours to visit their friend who had purchased this property. I can't even begin to describe the fun time we had from beginning to end. First you must be the outdoorsey type, be able to swim and paddle, if not, do not come. We locked up our stuff, grabbed our coolers and were whisked away up stream of the Peace River to put our canoe's in. The owners were friendly, helpful and kind and after a plethura of information exchanged we were comfortably on our way down the river. We spent the next couple hours canoeing, lunching and viewing the wildlife from the river. Away from the hustle and bustle of life in general it was a peaceful cruise enjoying the company or our friends and family. A few paddle splashes and lots of laughter later a fun time was had by all! From what I understand there are several canoe trips that can be taken from several hours to one and even overnight camping is available. We wish them lots of luck on this new adventure of their life and will soon return for some more fun paddling in the sun!

Thank you Canoe Safari for an awesome canoe experience on the Peace River. My family of 6 rented 3 canoes and were so happy we went with the referral of Canoe Safari. Everyone we worked with from the counter to the transport/put-in crew were so friendly and helpful. We ran 10 min behind schedule and there was not an issue, they were very accommodating. The equipment was in great condition, a river map and instruction was provided, as well as fossil hunting tips. We loved our van driver, awesome tips and history of the river. At the dock, they were so helpful with loading/unloading and making sure everyone was comfortable. Thank you Canoe Safari for a great experience!

First time at the river and Canoe Safari, Jason and his wife, did an excellent job for us. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, we're so glad we used them because the people in the next campsite were burned by the other outfit and didn't even get on the water. Thanks again Canoe Safari. The Bradshaw Family

I looked at TripAdvisor and saw Canoe Safari and Canoe Outpost. I decided initially to go with this one as less reviews but all great thus should be good and available in the last minutes. I called on Friday evening of Thanksgiving weekend and they waited till we arrived - just a family with 2 parents, 2 kids. While we did not stay at their camp, we came next morning when it was convenient for us and immediately got a ride to Brownville park, got canoe and stuff for fossil hunting plus great guidance. Owners are very nice family. On the river, I noticed way more Canoe Outpost logos than Safari, thus I'd guess that Outpost is overloaded and may be not as good.
