The airboat is everything you expect and more. Although we had a flood tide and did not see any alligators, our guide worked really hard to find us some. He seemed to know where to go and where to look. The airboat held 15 or so of us, he tried to seat our young kids on the second row where they would be looking at the back of heads the whole time. Grateful to the group of adults who switched seats with the kids. Skip the swamp buggy. It is an enclosed 1 acre lot and we did about 3 loops in 20 minutes. Saw the same 2 owls and 3 ducks each time. I am pretty sure there is never a gator or any other wildlife in the enclosed area.

Celebrating our 55 years of marriage by going on a boat ride with Captain Bubba. Absolutely delightful with the natural resources, the beauty of the Peace River, the birding, the fishermen, the stunning views. Loved every minute. Back at the docks, we stepped into the Nav-A-Gator Grill for fish & chips. Next time we will try to the Airboat Ride.

I booked a trip for 3 last week and we all agreed that this was the best time we have had in our 6 years in Florida. Captain Bubba is worth the price of admission..We saw over 30 alligators and the scenery was amazing.

Very relaxed staff, easy boat ride, non-splashing, nothing really fast, no tight turns. We went in December, saw gators, and some interesting birds but our guide definitely focused on the gators, not birds or other wildlife. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. When to see: Gators come out when the water is cold to sun on the bank. Manatees come out when the water is warm. They don’t hang out in the river during cold river. Don’t wear big earrings, you’ll want to wear the ear protection. There is no microphone. All talking is done at low speeds and stops. Sani cans are near the ticket booth and there’s another one close to the dock. Trey was our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and stopped us on a sandbar to take our photo.

We had a great private tour with Captain Trey. He was able to locate gators, anhingas, a great blue heron....Showed us his favorite spot and a giant hornets' nest. It was really windy but he maneuvered the boat to mitigate what could have been a very rough ride against the wind. And, you have to say hi to Belinda. SHE IS THE BEST!!!! Checked us in and had us on our way in a snap.
