We are a family from up north, have never been on an airboat before nor in the Florida wild land. This experience was awesome for a family like us. The airboat experience was exciting, we saw a ton of gators in our 10:30 trip and our guide, Justin, is the type of Florida gator/river expert you want bringing you out on the river. The let us hold a baby alligator, they have a really cool (not big) zoo and you can touch tortoises (he doesn’t want to touch a tortoise!). Totally worth the time and money. I recommend this in a big way.

Excellent Airboat tour on the Peace River with Captain Justin. We took our Grandson on the tour and he loved it and smiled during the whole trip. We saw several Alligators and the Captain took the time to explain a lot of information about gators. When he saw a gator or turtle he’d slowed the boat down and made sure all the passengers saw them. All in all a great tour and I’d recommend taking it.

We had a great time during our fan boat tour!! Being from Washington we didn't know what to expect--we got a little of everything! There were eight of us in our group including an eight-year-old and four fifteen-year-olds, everyone had a great time. Gators and Herons and other very cool birds (that I can’t remember now) including a Buteo Hawk which our guide affectionately told us was our beloved Seattle Seahawk!! How cool is that?! Our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable! Back on land Peace River has an entire sanctuary of animals including lemurs (King Julian!) and emus, and of course little crocs that you can handle.
Overall, Peace River Charters was a win!!

A “Do not miss” Experience!! Brought our twin 10 years old Grandsons and they absolutely loved it! My husband and I were so glad we went on this charter also. Captain Leo was a terrific guide and wonderful with the boys. Explained about the environment and how to spot alligators, which we did! Let us go fossil hunting on the beach and they were excited to find shark teeth, fossil turtle shell pieces and more. Thank you Captain! You made our day!
Holding Blue the alligator was thrilling for us all! Will absolutely be back!

Fantastic airboat experience! We booked 3 seats on the early morning excursion. We were the only customers at that time, so we essentially got a private tour. Our Captain was wonderful. He pointed out manatees, tarpon, a bald eagle and 2 gators. He also gave us some local history that we found to be very interesting. I would definitely recommend Peace River Charters!

Went with a visiting relative from Germany. I wanted him to get the "Florida Man" experience so we booked a Surf and Turf adventure (swamp buggy & airboat). Both were interesting and lots of fun. I appreciate the emphasis on safety without taking away any fun. I will definitely book again next time I have out of town visitors. It's a real hoot. I'll also be back to sample the other activities they offer (horseback riding, camping, etc).

We took an airboat ride on The Peace River. Our captain Mike was great and the kids and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This is the third time I have gone with different family members and each time we see and experience something new.

What an amazing experience with our captain Justin, who was very knowledgeable about the animals, birds, gators etc. Never been on a airboat before and this trip definitely allowed me to tick this experience off my bucket list! Only slight negative was that tour was scheduled to last an hour, our tour only lasted about 45 minutes.

Our experience started out with a visit to a very nasty portable bathroom. The smell was awful and there was no hand soap or sanitizer. The receptionists were very disorganized and did not even try to have tours leave as scheduled. One was in a heated discussion on the telephone while we waited to pay for our purchase.
Although Paul was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide, the swamp buggy ride was lame. All of the buggy seats were ripped. We rode through the park on well- groomed and cleared dirt roads to primarily see tame and fenced-in animals.
The airboat ride was nothing more than racing from one alligator spot to the next. Our guide pointed out gators and two turtles. He did not even mention any of the birds, plants, or scenery. We ran over several things (including an alligator that we saw swimming in front of us) and he didn't seem to care. He drove at high speeds very close to partially-submerged logs and overhanging branches which made the ride uncomfortable rather than enjoyable. This was my 5th (and least favorite) airboat ride over the years.
Ironically, the high point of the day was seeing the male emu sitting on eggs.

We had lots of fun on our airboat ride! Shout out to our captain Mike who not only gave us the full airboat experience, complete with some water spray and sharp turns, but also shared some local info and pointed out lots of wildlife and birds.
We left from Navagators which worked out perfectly to have dinner after.

Is the buggy tour hard on your body? We have a senior with back and knee problems and she's concerned about being thrown around on the buggy ride.

Hello, is it possible to go riding in October? And how much costs for 6 adults ? Thank you
Written May 28, 2018
I think we paid $35 per adult and October would be a perfect time as long as the ground is not too wet after rainy season.
Written May 29, 2018
We went a couple of weeks ago and paid $42 per person.
Written March 2, 2018
I don't see any info or reviews on horseback ride? When do they occurr and what is the adult per person cost?
Written February 9, 2018
Yes a nice peaceful ride around the property. Great staff that is also family. I think 35 adult 25 child. While you are there do the boat ride.

My parents are in their 80s. My mother has limited mobility. Is there a way for her to get on the airboat such as stairs?
Thanks in advance
Written February 19, 2017
Susan, thank you for your interest in our airboat tours! We do have steps to get on the boat as well as a kart to carry them to the boat on the beach. We often have customers that have limited mobility or handicapped and we can usually accommodate with no problem. If you decide to book a airboat tour please just let someone know that you'll need help loading on the airboat so personnel are there to help. If you have any other questions please feel free!

Is the air boat ride and buggy ok for a 3 year old?
Written March 15, 2016
Airboat ride is a bench seat and the swampbuggy is a single person chair. I think I would put the child on my lap for the swampbuggy. Swamp buggy goes pretty slow but tilts a bit on one spot. Not a long ride 25 minutes? It would be great fun on either ride.

Greetings,
We are from Minnesota and plan to meet some relatives who are staying in Fort Meyers and we are staying in Orlando. We are interested in taking your boat ride, how many adults can you take on the same boat? We are all over 60yr old but not yet 70yr.
