Fabulous place to go. Hardly anyone here which was a bonus. Crystal clear water, warm too on a February afternoon. We saw otters, deer and turtles. It's only an easy 15 min tube float but we did that 6 times as it was so nice. $5 entrance for all of us... bargain!

So beautiful ! Drove a little over an hour and was definitely worth it. Nice big spacious park, has a play ground and a couple swing sets placed near pavilions. The water is warmer at the springs than it is at the beach right now for sure (January) we went yesterday (Sunday) and not even 25 cars were there. I... More

This park is SO beautiful in design and the water is gorgeous! There are quite a few rocks in the river if you choose to navigate the whole stream, so I would advise an inner tube, especially for kids. The water is a cool 70 degrees, and there are plenty of trails to explore.

Beautiful park, with everything you need. Concession stand, showers, covered picnic pavilions, sandy beach entrance into the spring. Camping or day trip. Lots of shade. Very clean. Safe, shallow, crystal clear, 72 degree water. Choice of tubing on a moderate current for 3/4 of a mile or swimming in a sandy bottom, open spring. The tubing area is separate from... More

Just got back from this park. I expected more people for a 80 degree day on a Saturday. We rented tubes right before the park for $7.00 a tube for the day. I thought it might be cold - middle of November, but the water was around 72 degrees. We saw turtles, a deer, some fish, and an otter. It... More

Absolutely loved the spring!!! The water was nice and warm around 68 degrees. The flow of the spring was not rough at all. Most areas I could stand up to my chest. It was not deep. I'm 5'3"!

We visited this park today. October 25th. Fantastic place. And we were very Lucky because we were early and alone in the park. We tubed down the stream and enjoyed the silence and the wildlife. Turtles, Birds, otters, deers. We all loved it.

visited here for a morning walk and did the 1.5 mile loop which was an easy trek but could be better signposted. The spring water is crystal clear and folks were tubing down the river from the spring head down to the pool area. You can sit around the pool area and just laze or have a dip in the... More
