The girl working the front desk is certainly not personable. Seemed annoyed that she had to work. But REALLY enjoyed Captain Richard who commandeered our trip up the Apalachicola River. He's very knowledgeable and accommodated our many requests to circle around to get extra camera...More

The sunset cruise and dinner was a fund raiser for the museum. The meal was excellent and not what I expected at all. We sailed out and watched the sun set in the west and turned around to watch the FULL moon rise in the...More

It wasn't what we expected but it was nice with lots of local history. Great for adults...not for the kids though.

Our family took the Sunset Cruise. The guide and Captain shared historic information on the city and waterfront before venturing out into the bay for sunset. Very entertaining and a beautiful way to watch the sun set.

We enjoyed our visit to the museum, the staff really tried to make our hard headed 4 year old smile. We took our time touring the museum, and really appreciate the history of it. We later took the sunset tour aboard their tour boat, and...More

It is a small maritime museum. But tons of history about the town of Apalachicola, if you read all the postings and signs. Very interesting to read about the oyster business and the sponge business that were once the talk of the town. If you...More
