    Awesome for adults
Great time of Bean Point. It is absolutely beautiful! We snorkeled and saw lots of fish in the water. Two caveats for visitors: 1- The beaches are set up more like private beaches, so parking is extremely hard to find. 2- the currents were strong for highly experienced swimmers… I would be concerned about bringing kids here. Additionally, because of the location at the end of the island, I have read that there are more sharks here than other places.

Nice beaches, lots to do, overdeveloped for my taste.
Warm clear water, average crowds on the beach, gorgeous sunsets, shopping and dining options. Beach time and cruising around in our golf cart along with biking were my favorites. Family enjoyed our private pool. I feel it’s overdeveloped and tons of construction. I prefer Sanibel Captiva but since Ian destroyed them and they are under major construction for years to come we tried AMI.

    Quiet and great for sunsets
The most northern beach on AMI. Very little people due to its location and extremely limited parking. The best way to get here is by walking or bicycle. Great for sunsets depending on the time of the year. No bathrooms or lifeguards. Soft sand. A little bit of a walk from the roadway to the beach. I recommend.

    Absolutely beautiful day!
What a great trip to this beautiful beach!! Parking is tricky, I think only road parking which makes for a little walk but not terrible. Beach is full of everything from fishing and swimming to shells and walking! My son found a star fish!! And we also came back with 7 full sand dollars! Such a great couple hours and we can’t wait to return, area is extremely nice and a unique beach compared to others.

There are awesome views of the sunset here on the northern tip of Anna Maria Island Florida. Its where Tampa Bay meets the Gulf of Mexico. No parking unless you wanna walk a long way. We had a family member drop off and pick up at beach access point. Enjoy!!

Bean Point is a beautiful, natural beach. It is a great place to spend an afternoon but parking is limited especially during the busy season. It's on the tip of the island and has a great view of Tampa Bay and the Skyway Bridge. Bean Point is a must visit spot on Anna Maria Island!

One of, if not the, prettiest places on the island. The northern point of the island is very quiet. Though there are more tourists than full time residents, there is not much shopping or other things that cause congestion. You get beautiful homes, walkers & bike riders. Of course, you have the soft, white sand, pretty dunes & amazing sunsets

This beach was amazing, even in December. It was below 70, but these 11 Seattleites were in the water and playing in the perfect size waves and sugar sand for hours, even with the passing clouds. I walked a long stretch and found some shells, the birds were really fun to watch, pelicans diving into the water. There is no parking lot and the closest streets have no parking signs, but we did park pretty close to one of the paths and it's probably a 100 yard walk from parked to beach.

This place was SO gorgeous. We did some research to be sure we could find a parking spot without too much difficulty. I wish I could remember the exact side streets we fount a parking spot at but I can't! Search through other reviews to find some specifics though and just be careful not to park by the no parking signs/side of the street. It was a decent walk but we were prepared and tried to pack light. It was certainly worth it for the seclusion, views, white powdery sand and the AMAZING sunset! We snorkeled for hours and had an amazing time.

We spent a day at Siesta Key to see what all the hype was about and Bean Point was by far more breathtaking (IMO) and easier to get to because the beach from at Siesta Key is GINORMOUS! If you don't like crowds when you're trying to relax and enjoy the beach this is the place for you!

What a great spot to catch the sunset. You are at the north end of the island with a wide Long Beach to sit and watch the sun over the water. There is a large dune area between the beach and the houses so it is a little more secluded feeling. Parking is limited to side streets so it is limited.

We always love to go to Bean point, but we appreciate it even more during this unique experience of social distancing! The beach is huge and essentially private as there are no hotels at the point. You can see sunset on the Gulf of Mexico and sunrise on Tampa bay. The dune grasses abd beach flowers are gorgeous! Don’t miss this amazing protected preserve at the northern end of Anna Maria Island!

We were so excited to check out Bean Point. We took a 30 minute ride to see it because we’ve heard wonderful things about it. But the people that have posted problems with parking were right. We could not find any parking at all and ended up leaving without seeing the beach and went to Coquina Beach. ☹️

The old Island feel is gone. There are too many tourists and new locals who have invaded Manatee County over the past decade. It can take you two hours to get out to the beach on weekends and other days. There is lots of red tide during spring and summer months that makes staying on the beach unbearable and kills the fishing. It was paradise decades ago but not anymore. Progress has ruined this one time beautiful Island. Buyer beware.
