Bean Point is the very tip of Anna Maria Island. The beach is so beautiful. It's where Tampa Bay meets the Gulf. The water is very pretty and clear. We walked from the Rod N Reel pier around to where we were staying on the gulf side. We saw lots of sea life. The beach is wide and the sand... More

Gorgeous Carribean type waters and So peaceful and quiet. Easy parking where indicated on the streets . Long walk from the street with your gear is the only negative when going here. Would go back again to watch a sunset.

White sand, great view of Egmont Key and the water is that Aqua Blue and emerald green. At sunset the orange and the blue and the green encouraged me to take pictures and paint it onto a canvas and is now part of our family room! You go to the island and you don't come here anytime of the day... More

Bean Point is where the waters of Tampa Bay and the Gulf merge. There can be some strong tides, especially outgoing, which makes swimming a little more difficult. In this case, swimming should be done a hundred yards or so south of the point in Gulf waters. The fishing is excellent here both day and night especially for snook, mullet,... More

One word...BEAUTIFUL. Parking is a little challenging but it is well worth seeing the point. Not as crowded as some beaches. Very quiet

My wife and I walk for miles on the beach so we walked quite a way up the beach to bean point. There is no sign saying welcome to Bean Point so it is possible to not realise you are there. It's the very tip of Anna Maria Island, the view can be stunning if your there at sunset. Definitely... More

This beach is located on the north point of the island where the Gulf of Mexico meets Tampa Bay. The water can be a bit choppy so I wouldn't let my kids get in beyond their knees, but they found star fish and sand dollars in the area and on several different days we saw manatees swimming by within 10-15... Of course it's beautiful although no better than other beaches ... unless we went to the wrong bit! The parking isn't as bad as I was expecting Definitely worth going but see Holmes Beach too

Enjoyed walking here every morning for exercise and the views during our vacations. Great birdwatching, too! Can see the big Tampa bridge.

Was one of the best sunsets I have seen in over 50 countries. Picture this - sunsetting as shown below; great colors, gentle breeze, and surf.
