I checked out several beaches on Anna Maria Island and this was my favorite. It was wide, soft sand, natural and beautiful views. I had to park a long ways away and walk to down to the beach but it was worth it. Be prepared,...More

We love this beach! It's on the quiet end of Anna Maria and we see a manatee every day here! We go snorkeling for sand dollars, huge seashells, crabs, and dolphin sightings at least once a week!

This beach is super nice, quiet and breeze. The sand is white and smooth. No rentals or life guars and no bathroom or showers but the views were worth it.

We stayed by Bean Point so we're lucky that it was a 2 minute walk. It's a stunning beach, with soft white sand, it's not crowded and you can see wonderful sunsets. Just beautiful and so glad we stayed here.

Definitely not a snorkelling area! The currents are very powerful as it is at the confluence of Tampa Bay and the Gulf. You only have to take one look at the water to see how strong the current is.

I always stay in Holmes and walk up to the Sand Bar every morning for my exercise. This year, one day, I decided to walk around the island to the bay side instead of doing a round trip walk. The beach on the north side of... More
