Each trip to Anna Maria Island consists of my daily, morning walks from 60th & Gulf Dr, up to Bean point, around Bean Point & back. Depending on the season, prepare to discover different types of wild life, different tones of gulf water colors...and meet...More

We walked up to Bean Point. I was hoping for some good shells... one day we found a couple of sand dollars, another day I saw a couple of washed up starfish. But if you are searching for beautiful shells, you need to go to...More

Our vacation rental was not far from bean point. We enjoyed walking on the beach looking for shells and sand dollars every day. At bean point we watched dolphins swimming in the bay. The beach is wide and beautiful. The sand is white and very...More

This beach was amazing. Though a good walk to get to the ocean, the sand was great and the views were totally worth it! This beach is more secluded and further away then the more touristy spots leaving amble room to relax without feeling cluttered....More

The sand was great for walking and way less crowds. Has view of the Sunshine Bridge. Find the wooded entrance on North Shore Drive, very pretty.

It’s a hidden gem, be careful of the current here it is very strong. Sitting on the beach is breathtaking and very beautiful. A little getaway from the hustle and bustle...

Long beach access walk but beautiful white sand and ocean views. We walked past here all the way around the north point. Not crowded at all. No facilities which makes it difficult.

Great place to watch sunset but the sand fleas (or No See-Ums, as they are sometimes called) were out in full force at that time of day and I was eaten alive. Don't sit directly on the sand!

It is worth the long walk through the beach access. Powdery white sand, dolphins swimming by and the best view on Anna Maria Island. Street parking can be a problem and no facilities of any kind.

An amazing, must see part of Anna Maria Island. You feel as if you are on the edge of the earth. Beautiful soft sand, dolphins and blue blue water for miles.....not too busy either.

You park one block away on the street, it’s very limited parking unless you get there early. Only a short walk to the beach, and it’s extremely beautiful and definitely worth seeing.

Most of AMI is rather calm. The gulf side typically doesn't get large waves like the east coast of FL. The Sandbar restaurant is a great place for families to set up camp at the beach and have access to the beach... More

Check out Duncan Real Estate on the island, they have great rentals and are easy to work with. We stay at "seascapes" right at bean point directly across from the path, great location.
