We live less than a mile from Crane's Roost and we spend a lot of time there. The walk around the lake is 1 mile. Perfect for an after dinner stroll, or great for doing multiple laps for the more ambitious. The ring around the lake takes you over bridges on both ends of the lake, through a shaded park... More

This walking trail is located near Altamonte Springs mall, along with a few restaurants that dot the lakeside. All through the year the city has many events here as well, such as 4th of July fireworks and art & wine festivals. Pet & family friendly.

There are always people there which makes for a secure place for walking around a lake. This is where concerts and a very large 4th of July fireworks happens in Altamonte Springs. Around the lake are various office buildings, restaurants and the Altamonte Mall.

We stay at Embassy Suites when in Altamonte Springs to visit family & friends. We arrived to see that our favorite walking place was closed, and from the looks of it will remain that way until repairs are done.

Nice mile walk that appears safe where I can go and walk after a hard day by myself. Sometimes busy but I can get around.

Cranes roost is a place to go shop. Go for a walk. Set where it does a great 4th of July Celebration.
