Such a beautiful place. What pleasure to see countless families barbecuing, cycling together, dancing, running around. Saw adorable ducks in the lake too. Really pleasant around August.

I had been on a business trip in Aurora for several days stuck in a crowded conference room with minimal air conditioning. I really wanted to get outside. My co-worker recommended Cherry Creek State Park. I drove there in my rented car and walked around. I saw great scenery, including the sun setting low over the lake, with fierce sunlight... More

Cherry Creek State Park is situated smack dab in the middle of Aurora, CO. Adjacent to I-225 and Parker Rd., the park offers a wide variety of things to see and do. We have enjoyed the walking trails (keep your dog leashed please) as well as the biking paths and the shooting range. If you are a dog lover, take... More

My wife and I were only there for almost an hour. Wondering place for even a stroll. My lady took some amazing pictures. My 7 month old daughter also enjoyed her time. Cherry Creek is an amazing place to visit, smiles guaranteed.

The picnic areas are great. We rented one and had our wedding there, it was really nice and private.

I live close by and the dog loves coming here for walks and play in the water. It's like an island of nature in the middle of the city. Hard to believe it's surrounded by building and highways when your there. I even drive thru on my way home from work some days. Great way to unwind!

We love to camp and this was our first family trip to the Denver area. So, we decided to give this place a try. So glad we did. Great place to camp and being in the metro area made everything we wanted to do very convenient. Saw deer every day which is always a plus. Rocky Mountains as the back... More

Spent several hours riding around, walking, sitting and watching wildlife. This park is gorgeous and there are lots of things to do: boat, shoot, bike, hike, walk, boat, model airplanes. We spent the day just "recharging" and it was very nice.
