It is a nice park but I do not like all the motorized vehicles on the water. It has gotten really bad over the years. The water is dirty and there is a lot of trash around the park.

Our family loves to spend lazy weekend days at the Park kayaking and playing on the beach. The lake has a great area for non-motorized boats, keeping us kayakers safe from all of the big boats on the water. The beach area is perfect for picnicking and building sand castles. The line to get into the park can get long... More

My daughter went to cherry creek park for one hour horse back riding and she had good time. The park also has a dog park, so the dog can running freely with other dogs that seems to be fun.

This park is loaded with nice huge Cottonwood trees. It has nice trails and there are lots of deer and othere wildlife. We have also seen Great Horned Owls here at dusk. Laid out nicely but lots of people. Many times when we drive by the entrance cars are lined up to get in. We prefer going in the fall... More

A great state park just outside of Denver. Enjoy hiking, bicycling, boating, sailing, fishing, camping, horseback riding, snow shoeing. There is a great huge fenced in dog park. Open year round.

Biking, hiking, nature walks, boating, swimming, just hanging out on the beach, live music on Wednesdays, dog park, or a beautiful place to watch the sunset, everything you're looking for for an escape to nature in the middle of the city.

$9 admission. Would have helped if the ranger would have directed us to the dog area to begin with. Beaches course sand and rocks. Fun kayaking on the reservoir. saw little crabs and minnows with an occasional random big splash. In saying this we are thinking about fishing tomorrow.

We RV a month in August and a month in February. This is a great park. Very well kept, bike trails and clean sites with full hookups. The only thing we have against it is the Denver traffic. Coming and going to the park has to be timed to keep from getting into the afternoon traffic.
