Stunnnig scenery and a very good walk. Does not get overcrowded as they restrict entry to the number of cars the car park can hold - cool idea!

Take your camera and a water bottle. Summers are hot but there is the occasional rain shower which can make it a bit chilly, so be prepared. It's an easy hike.

The bus drops you here. This is the iconic photo spot. There are restrooms and water fountains (no food). Recommend you bring a water bottle if you plan to do any kind of walking (you can refill it if necessary). The trail around Maroon Lake...More

This is one of the most anticipated places for established and aspired photographers, so it is very crowded, so ideally have your own transportation before and after their bus shuttle schedule!

Fun and easy hike if you are visiting the bells. The terrain is mild and the view from the lake is worth the hike. Many people enjoy the lake and hang out a while before turning back.

Yes, the Disabled placard is one of the exceptions for users who can drive into the Maroon Bells area. There is a $10 recreation use fee. See stayaspensnowmass for more details

I dont know about the parking but i can tell you about the trail. It is narrow at some points (need to move in a single file, one after another) and wider at other points. It is definitely rocky but not very steep. I mean... More
