We provide exemplary customer service to all our clients, something larger companies in the valley are hard pressed to match. We are the only company in the valley that focuses solely on whitewater rafting - our true passion. Our priorities are safety and fun, and we do our best to cater to each individual’s needs in order to create the perfect Roaring Fork rafting experience. We have some of the best guides in the valley (over half are Class IV/V guides), new equipment, outstanding lunches, and small group sizes, yet we offer our trips at an affordable price. We had a top notch experience with AWR. Peyton from the office was super helpful and informative to help us pick the right trip for our group of 4 mixed experience rafters. We met Reed at the office and he was awesome. He and Becca were completely prepared for us and put everyone at ease. The adventure itself was amazing. We chose level 3/4 and will be ready for a bit more next time. Reed shared facts about the area, added extra splash and fun when he was able and kept us laughing the whole time. Excellent day!

We did Brown’s Canyon with Lenny as our guide. Having done some rafting in the past, Lenny was hands down the best guide my family and I have ever had! He was very personable and professional, well organized and knowledgeable about the river and what he was doing, and great at communicating what he wanted the raft crew to do. Overall, I highly recommend running rivers in Colorado with Aspen Whitewater Rafting, the company as a whole is first class, and ask for Lenny!

This was probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The team we were with was extremely professional, helpful, friendly, and encouraging. They gave all the necessary information to feel safe but still but an emphasis on having a fun time on the Arkansas River. We did class 2&3 rapids and felt safe & well taken care of the whole time. Major props to Sam, our guide, who put up with a raft of 4 giggly 20-somethings & made us have some good laughs! Ted, our driver was super informative & knew so many interesting facts. Kyle & Bryan were also super chill & did an amazing job! Would totally go back and try even the class 4 rapids after how great this experience was. Keep up the amazing job!
P.S: ask to go surfing at the end, you’ll know it when you see it ;).

Yesterday, my girlfriend and I, along with her immediate family experienced the best white water rafting in Twin Lakes, Colorado via Aspen Whitewater Rafting. We did the Afternoon Fractions (Level 3) with Reed Joyce as our guide. The scenery was comparable to a Bob Ross painting and Reed was comparable to Bob Ross himself. In addition to being a kind, gentle soul, Reed was constantly giving us information about the history of everything around us, he even did this during the van ride to the rapids. We all felt that Reed went above and beyond to make what was already an amazing experience even better!

Beautiful weather for rafting with the family. Our guide, Kyle, was very informative and friendly. The 20 or so minute drive to and from the drop off and pick up sight were spent in friendly conversation with our driver, Reed, and our guide, Kyle. Once on the river we were expertly navigated though level 3 rapids for a fun fulled 8 miles with just the right amount of soaking. Would recommend this river adventure to anyone!

We had an outstanding trip with our guides Chris and Kyle. Chris drove us over Independence Pass and made it fun the whole way, sharing lots of really interesting information about the area. The guides did a great job of tailoring the rafting to the people in their boats. We got lucky and had a raft of people wanting to take the difficult routes, try things, etc. and so we did! Really fun trip, well hosted and guided, and I’d definitely recommend for anyone wanting such an outing!

We had a great experience with Whitewater Rafting. From the very first phone call to get more information, they were very friendly and helpful, giving us advice and answering questions without rushing us. Our trip itself was wonderful, Charles was our guide and was great with our kids aged 5,8,10. Everyone had a great time, he pointed out birds and made the river trip fun and exciting for the kids. Overall a great experience, definitely recommend and hope to do it again in the future!

Absolutely recommend booking a whitewater rafting trip with Aspen Whitewater Rafting. Our guide, Scott, was the main reason our trip was what it was, he’s very professional and always had our adventure and safety in mind. We had 2 not so sure rafters with our group and Scott continuously reassured them which made them comfortable and able to enjoy the ride. Scott’s instruction on the river was spot on and easily understood.

Everything about our experience with AWR was amazing. We originally booked the kayaking and due to high water we needed to adjust our reservation. Sam called me and explained the other options available and was incredibly helpful. The day came for our rafting excursion and Charles and Scott picked us up in Buttermilk which was incredibly easy and seamless. Charles even let me borrow his sunglasses strap so I wouldn’t loose mine on the River, such a cool guy. Scott took us out on the River and seriously if you book with them ask for Scott. We were so safe the entire time with over 25 years of experience you couldn’t ask for a better guide plus his knowledge of the area was awesome. We had a blast and look forward to trying the level IIII rapids when we’re in the area again. Thank you Scott and Charles for the incredible day!

Great trip!!!! I highly recommend Reed as a guide, he was very knowledgeable and made sure we understood all safety measures. He let us know what to expect with each set of rapids. He also gave us a little history of the area.

Thank you for your inquiry. We do pick up and drop off from the St. Regis Hotel. Timing of trips depends on what time of the year you will be going rafting. We have half day and full day trips. Pick ups range from 7:45-9:15, and 11:45-1:15. Please feel free to give us a call with the dates you will be in town and I can go over the details with you! 970-920-3511.
