Aspen Summer Golf
Jul 2018 • Couples
We love this beautiful and challenging course. The staff are friendly, the scenery is spectacular and summers in Aspen are perfect for golf. By the way, the golf ⛳️ ball really flies in the thin air...you may have to adjust your club selection.

XC Skiing is Fun
Feb 2012
I love the SM golf course in the winter and if it's snowy you can join the the Owl Creek trail and ski to the Aspen Golf Course. Summer? Yeah, I don't golf.

A Challenging Golf Course That is Hard to Tame!
Aug 2011
This is an awesome golf course which will challenge your golf talent and you patience to play it well. Forget the altitude! That's no excuse as the course winds around the foothills of the mountains of Snowmass. The challenge is almost a target golf venue, staying out of the native grasses, scary bunkers and demanding greens. The greens are tiered, mounded or undulating. Additionally they are surrounded by thick rough and huge mounds and hillsides as the majority are set down into a "bowl". Bunkers both fairway and greenside have massive rolling mounds around them adding to the challenge of the course. This is not a course for the timid or weak at heart. Climbing down to the greens and back out is a cardio work out in and of itself. A must play, but don't take yourself too seriously. This course will take several rounds to learn its nuances.

Insanely Awesome Golf Course
After playing this course I am now obssessed with high altitude golf. This masterpiece featured incredible hole after incredible hole -- it was a super treat to platy. If given the opportunity to play make every effort to do so...

I grew up in Palm Springs and have played hundreds of rounds at some of the best courses on the West Coast (the quarry, vintage, bighorn, sherwood, bighorn, etc) and this course belongs in that elite group.
