The 2016 production of Mamma Mia was great in every way! The acting & singing was so good and so much fun. The actors were well chosen for the specific roles. The intimate setting is the perfect venue! The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. The theater is located next to the John Denver memorial which is a beautiful garden... More

Watched 'Annie' here and enjoyed both the show and the venue immensely. This intimate little theater allows you to get up close with the actors. I don't think any of the seats are more than fifty feet from the stage, so you can see details of expression and nuances of costuming. The acoustics are good, and we never have any... More

Let me start by saying I used to be the artistic administrator a performing arts center so I know a thing or two about the theatre. I was delighted to find this wonderful theatre organization when I moved here a decade ago. They've always managed to present a well rounded theatre season every year. The quality of the production and... More

We have been going to all of the performances at Theatre Aspen for about the last five years. We have been amazed at the quality of the performances. We saw La Miserables in 2014 and we could not believe that it was possible to have such an amazing performance on a small stage. The performances for 2015 were excellent.

We have seen several productions here and they are the same quality as the best we've seen in NY. The facility is amazing, recently made permanent and surrounded by gorgeous floral and water landscaping. It's worth coming just to walk around and admire. They bring in outstanding equity actors with great credentials and fill out the cast with excellent apprentices.... More

Every show we saw here last summer was original and delightful. It is a high quality theater with innovative performances, but with a cozy Aspen atmosphere.

We saw two performances while visiting Aspen. One was a play entitled "The Cottage" and it was good. The other was the musical "Little Women" and it was fantastic. This is community theater at its very best, and I think they often sell out. The theatre is connected to the absolutely gorgeous John Denver Sanctuary, so be sure to go... More

We are thrilled you enjoyed the shows you attended at Theatre Aspen! On behalf of the actors who performed in the shows, however, we just wanted to point out that Theatre Aspen is a professional, as opposed to community, theatre and that the actors we employ come from all over and are paid to spend their time in Aspen. We... More

This is a must while in Aspen, intimate location and fantastic performers! absolutely a must! NO bad seat in the house, it doesn't matter where you sit, performance usually utilizes all parts of stage, you feel like you are involved in show. Love going to this theater!
