I have loved John Denver since I was a child. I was so excited to go here and it didn't disappoint. The grounds are lovely and the stones with his music lyrics were just amazing. The only thing I would add is maybe some actual speakers along the paths playing some of his music

I am a huge John Denver fan. We drove from Breckenridge specifically to visit the sanctuary. I found the site confusing. It is tucked in behind a large soccer field. The re is no map to indicate size of the area. One small marker for Annie’s garden directed us to cross

Numerous John Denver anthems inscribed in large rocks along the Roaring Fork River. Kids can appreciate the beauty that inspired some great songs. A great place to start a hike up Hunter Creek.
