Whenever I'm in the Allenspark area, I stop to see what Eagleplumes ( local talk) has in stock. The history behind the business is intriguing and worth picking up one of the books describing the founder and details. The museum peices take you back in time and are respectful of the art, crafts and jewelry of various tribes. A resident artist is on site in the summer showcasing specific work. The staff is local and knowledgable regarding their wares. Covid precuations are adhered to by staff and visitors …

Everyone hanging out in there obviously had a connection to the business. Parking is very limited. Dark and dingy. A few nicer pieces.…

Anyway, I bought something that caught my wife`s eye, and went to check out. Charlie looked at my item and told me, "I don`t like to make change, buy something else." I still laugh to this day at his suggestion. I did share this story with the owners and they said it was just like Charlie. So much history contained in the store. Will be back next year.…

Wonderful shop with historic artifacts. I could have spent an hour browsing. The owners are facinating and have many stories to tell.
