We traveled to Monte Vista to see the annual Sandhill Crane migration to San Luis Valley. We stayed overnight at the Alamosa Hampton Inn and enjoyed an energetic dinner at the San Luis Valley Brewery.

The food was good, the beer was good. I had a flight that included I think every beer on the menu. The service was a little bit slow, but they were very nice. Overall a very pleasant stop for dinner!

Batter on the fish and chips was not seasoned well...pretty bland. Nothing that couldn't be handled at table with salt and malt vinegar, but slightly disappointed. Thank the Gods they have good brew to accompany.
