Come face-to-face with Catalina’s abundant marine life by cruising five feet under water in a spacious, climate-controlled cabin. Or, come back for the nighttime version and we’ll introduce you to a whole other world that only comes out after dark.As we feed the fish from our semi-submersible vessels, you’ll see a wide array of undersea dwellers: bright orange garibaldi, spotted calico bass, urchins, rockfish and bat rays, just to name a few. This is more than a tour; it’s an undersea adventure.A colorful Fish Finder Guide and souvenir button are included with each ticket purchase. Advance reservations are recommended.

This tour was only one quarter full so we had plenty of room to move about. The views of the fish and the rocks were really good but not much variety in the types of fish but I suppose that's luck of the draw. One word of warning when booking, DON'T book online through a third party site as they... More

This tour is very simple and short compared to other tours in Catalina so my group thought this activity was underwhelming compared to other tours we took on the island. Unfortunately there was not much we saw except the same type of fish everywhere -- there was not that much diversity. A visit to a good aquarium is much more... More

This was the coolest thing that I have ever done. I went with my family (5 of us) on the red/black semi-submarine. The temperature was cool inside There were only 4 other people so we basically got a private boat because it was huge. The crew were very nice and professional. They told us what to expect and gave us... More

Overall this outing was okay but we really saw only a few species of fish. As you motor along under the sea for about 40 minutes the crew will throw food into the water which attracts a ton of fish, but the excitement wares off quickly. The boat was well kept and the crew were very nice. This is a... More

As part of our Carnival Cruise, we took a short tour on the Sea Wolf and absolutely loved it. Watching all the fish swim around was great. I loved having an inside look at all of the different types of fish.

I'm claustrophobic and I had no problem with the boat. The stock picture is very close to what I saw. Damsel, Garibaldi and other fish were in abundance. Crew is very cognizant of their role in protecting the marine life near the island and gave good explanations about what we saw. We also had a very knowledgable local on board.... More

This was a coo lil tour. WE ended up being the only one on the boat. We took a carnival cruise. booking off the cruise ended up being cheaper. If you can go after 3, they have a coupon book on the pier that gets you a discount. I'd prob just do the glass bottom boat next time. too much$$... More

We opted for the black and red submarine. Rated 3 for children and would have rated a 2 for adults. The ship is comfortable and everyone has their own seat and viewing window as stated but this was the end of the pros for us, unfortunately. There were a limited variety of fish (3 that we counted). They fed the... More

Wonderful way to observe California's state marine fish, the Garibaldi. Ride through a marine sanctuary and learn up close and personal about some beautiful sea life. Noontime has the best lighting. Bring a camera. Reasonable price and great way to view without getting wet.

I've been on tours like this in places like the Great Barrier Reef and French Polynesia, and the astounding variety of fish and sealife I saw in those places kind of ruined this for me. We certainly saw a lot of fish on this tour, but about 3-5 basic kinds strongly dominated the viewing, and except for the Garibaldi, they... More
