A day or evening ghostly walking tour which will guide you through haunted Avalon; over the very burial ground the village was built upon. You will drop in on a variety of historic locations which are sure to raise the hair on your neck with their paranormal activity. You will become entwined with the unsolved mysteries, scandalous tales, ghostly sightings, types of ghosts and why they continue to haunt Avalon. Cameras are encouraged. Nothing is made up. It is historic, educational and crazy wild when we have an encounter. The tours last just over an hour and are “G Rated for Ghostly” and are great for families as well as for the serious paranormal investigator or amateur ghost hunter. Tours meet near the Casino and come back into town with some stairs involved. The tour ends at the opposite side of town at the most actively haunted site in town.

Chuck is a native of Avalon, he was personable and full of knowledge. It was not a scary tour, but Chuck did relay tidbits of interesting & strange occurrences that were reported. We got a lot of historical information and feel like we got to know Avalon a little more intimately.

Chuck was very personable and entertaining but didn't think much of the tour. It was ~1/2 dozen of vague ghost sightings and a stories of a couple of deaths in Avalon. Not quite worth the money.

My niece's and I went on the tour, mason was our tour guide, he provided the girls and I with the best hour ever. You feel like family when you are talking with him. It's interactive and you won't be disappointed. I don't want to give away all the fun, so I suggest you book early and request mason, he's... More

My fiance and I went to Catalina for my birthday and since we were there on Friday the 13th thought it'd be fun to do the ghost tour. Mason, the tour guide, was the funniest knowledgeable guy. Everyone knows Catalina has a history but this tour gives you a neat insiders look at some of that history. I would definitely... More

My friends and I took this tour and we had a great time! Mason was our tour guide and he was a wealth of information not only about the local spooks but also the history of the island. It was a lot of walking but not much uphill which I appreciated! It was definitely more fun at night and I... More

We were staying in Catalina for a couple of days and thought to cap-off St Patrick's Day with a ghost tour. The (well advertised on the side of a golf cart parked by the Casino) tour is trumpeted as "one of the 10 best ghost tours bla bla bla", so we said, "what the hell" . We called de phone... More

We signed up on the phone and were told to meet near the old casino in Avalon 15 minutes before the 8 PM start. The walk was to take about an hour. We were there as requested with about 15 other people. Two guides showed up right at 8 o'clock and took about 15 minutes to get everyone signed in.... More

My son turned 16 on 2/24/16 and wanted to take this tour on Catalina Island. I started calling days before we were to leave and leaving emails on their website to no avail. The first day we got to the Island, we were walking to Descanso Beach and passed, "The Original Ghost Tours of Catalina" bus that was parked on... More

If I could give this tour zero star I would. The tour was $22 /person, so my husband and I paid $44. It was simply a rip-off, a tourist trap. We went to the famous Waley house in San Diego and only paid $10/person. This Catalina ghost tour basically makes you walk a short trail and some tape is played... More
