Stopped by here after trying to go to La Selva beach (didn't know it was private). The beach was not crowded at all and we had our pick of where to place our blanket. Kids loved it. People were super chill. Definitely come out to enjoy the California coast if you're in the area.

Generally less crowded than the other major beaches nearby, perhaps because it's not as close to other things like restaurants, cafes, etc... But a big, beautiful expanse of sand and blue-green ocean waves. No frills, no Boardwalk, just your classic, relaxing, beautiful beach. $10 to park in the lot, but relatively hassle-free. The best beach in this part of the... More

Manresa is a great beach. Tons of shells and great waves. You can usually find surfers out there most times of the year. There is limited parking outside the parking lot and the nearby streets don't really have public parking. The parking lot is high above the beach so you will have to go down a ramp or stairs to... Always make a stop here whenever I stop by in Capitola to visit my relatives or stay at the beach house. It's a little more out of the way, but it's worth it for the views and much more expansive amount of beach than the more popular nearby beaches can provide. Can get a bit windy in the mornings and... Manresa is a true favorite of mine. Although not far from Santa Cruz, this Aptos beauty is far less crowded than beaches further north. Miles long, Manresa is perfect for a long walk. Given its size, it is easy to find a little solitude, even on a weekend. I love enjoying a picnic and watching the waves for hours. Manresa... More

Good beach to go for a long walk and find sand dollars. Has good surfing too although when we went the water was only about 55 degrees.

This is a great surfing and relaxing beach. Shells abound. So do dogs so watch where you step with clueless owners.

Manresa Beach can be awesome surf. Lot's of parking. Lot's of marine life visible form the parking lot or beach. Nice beach walks!

We went for sunset. It was calm and peaceful. Not many people and a huge beach flat. Great for playing, walking, some easy surfing and awesome views.
