We attended the "Farmers Market" in the park and enjoyed the green grass and shade trees. The market was small, but the live music was a nice feature, and the atmosphere was friendly and comfortable for families.

This park is located right below Main Street (highway 49) in central downtown. It has a nice playground, shelter and restrooms, but the best part is the quiet, shaded and secluded grassy expanse where a person could relax. We experienced the Friday evening (5 to...More

Was looking for a place to walk off our meal and came across this cozy quaint park. The parks exterior surrounded by interesting old homes. It seemed to take us back to a different era.

Nice play area, tucked away but easy to get to. Looks like there's a farmers market close by during the summer = but wasn't open while we were there, would have loved that! Perfect for napping on the grass, or watching the kids play.

My kids are grown, but it is a great small park to take youngsters to. It is safe and never crowded. They host a Farmer's Market during the summer months with great fresh produce and local crafts on Fridays!
