This was a blast. The guides were wonderful and I stayed in the boat !! The thrill was shared by my wife and my daughter. We also camped by the river for three days too which was a joy. We visited Sutters Mill which was a history lesson for my daughter about panning for gold in California.

We flew across country in search of a whitewater rafting tour of the Tuolumne to remember and that's just what we found! We were greeted by the very knowledgable Mike who enriched our minds with his inexhaustible knowledge of the surrounding areas and history. As we arrived to the launch area we were greeted by the whole crew, and after... More

Excellent safety instruction prior to getting in the water. The guides, all of them with years of experience, were very patient with several folks who never rafted before. Once we got on the water, we had a fantastic time, even "rescuing" one overboard paddler utilizing the previously mentioned instructions. This trip didn't offer much sight seeing as it was go,... O.A.R.S. South Fork 1 day Rafting for family with young kids. It builds confidence and team works. Good sunny day and cool water splashes! Simple but nice lunch served with hearts and smiles. Beautiful sceneries and responsible guides that put safety first.

We were a group of 4 Londoners and on San Franciscan, we rafted on the Merced. Pick up was around the corner from Cedar Lodge which is where we were staying. The team was really informative, and super friendly. The guiding was top notch and we felt safe at every moment. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to... More

Tremendous trip down the Tuolumne River!!!...The guides are what make this a "must do" adventure. The time that these guides take to set up camp, interact with everyone, give fountains of knowledge about the Yosemite area, prepare amazing meals throughout each day, all while navigating Class III/IV rapids..is truly amazing. Kudos to you Mike, Jimbo, Colin and Jeff...you guys are... More

Some friends and I had a terrific two-day trip down the Tuolomne with O.A.R.S. It was a "turnkey" experience in which all aspects of the trip we're expertly planned and realized. The guides were at the top of their game, each serving in multiple roles. I was impressed with the organization and will likely take another trip with them soon.

Excellent trip!! This was my second trip with OARS and I highly recommend them. Guides are knowledgeable and experienced, food is great and your comfort and safety is always their number 1 priority. The rafting was thrilling and full of heart stopping moments. Relaxing around a campfire under the stars with a cold beer that night was just as wonderful.... More

We did a full day white water rafting trip with OARS on Merced river. Our guide Jimbo was fun and ensured that we had a wonderful and safe experience. We got a chance to ride through numerous Class 3 Rapids, swim in the Merced river, dive from the jumping rock and enjoy a wonderful lunch break right next to the... More

AMAZING 3-day trip. One for the ages. The guides (Mike, Jimbo, Colin and Jeff) all worked so well together and were just awesome. From their knowledge of the river, to their ability to cook, to doing EVERYTHING behind the scenes, you could really tell that they loved being out there. Plus, there's way more than just rafting - the hikes... More
