This was my first white water experience in over 20 years. Our guide was awesome and well prepared. There was a brief and informative safety review before entering the water which was much appreciated. Because he knew the river so well, he was able to make the trip more exciting for us. He took us into sections certain ways to... More

Just got back from the 3-day Tuolumne River Whitewater Rafting trip with Oars and I can't say enough of how good it was!! Everything was extremely well organized and the guides were fantastic! The rafting was a ton of fun, and the guides are very skilled when it comes to navigating the water that at times can be quite rough.... More

We went on a day trip with Shayne as our guide and 4 other boats. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, but Shayne was exceptionally excellent in his role. All the guides were very informative on safety, gave little bits of history/folklore throughout he day, but most of all, they were fun! We will definitely go on this... More

The three day, 18 mile trip down the Tuolumne River, with more than 12 class IV rapids, was an epic adventure - fun, exciting, nerve wracking and beautiful from start to finish. Our guide, Crystal, was amazing. Our safety was her utmost concern, but so was making our trip memorable. The rest of the crew, Mike (trip leader), Moose (videographer... More

We had a great time on the 2 1/2 day river trip. The river was perfect for my 11 yo, 13 yo, and 15 yo. Our head guide, Jimbo was fantastic. The guides know the river very well and were able to do some fun extra things like jumping off rocks, surfing, and swimming. We loved it and would definitely... More

When I read the on-line description of this trip I knew it would have big enough waves for my husband and me (meaning not too big), while also holding enough action and excitement for our 2, 12 year old granddaughters. This was a spectacular 3 night trip that surpassed all expectations. The crew, led by Shedd, was just wonderful. Fun,... More

We did the 3 day 21st Amendment rafting trip on the Tualomne River. This was one of those trips that I was nervous about - not having done much more than class III and IV Rapids - and my husband much more experienced. But it was on his bucket list and I concentrated on the fact that there was beer... More

We chose Tuolumne River because of the Class 4 Rapids and OARS for their reputation of providing a great experience. They lived up to their reputation. The guides were great--they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious.

We took the two-day trip down the Tuolumne River in the summer. Guides were knowledge, friendly and ensured our safety. If you want a more strenuous and water trip (if possible), sit in front of the raft as you will get all the direct hits of the Class III and IV rapids. Highly recommend getting out of the raft when... More
