The night time fireworks are always a highlight of the day. However, we were there on a Thursday night and found the show disappointing. The fireworks seemed lacking in variety and was very ordinary with little colour.
On the Friday night, we were in California Adventure and caught parts of the fireworks on the way out. Even with restricted view, it seemed like a much better show, more colourful and more impressive variety/variations. It seems a bit of a cheat to have different firework shows on different days- cost saving excuses again? What kind of experience are Disney giving to guests that don’t go on weekends? We were also told that there were no fireworks every day, so when there was a show scheduled for our day, we were happy, but didn’t realise that there was a difference. Disappointed with Disney

When I travel to Disneyland, I am cruising in an electric wheelchair. It's often difficult for me to see parades or shows and almost impossible for me to wait long periods of time to see a show. I found The Disney Tomorrow Land Terrace Fireworks Special! This was perfect for me. I reserved on line and showed up to check in at the restaurant. The staff was unbelievably kind to me and helpful. The food was delicious-Moroccan Chicken, turmeric rice, greens and a coconut refreshing drink with a glow cube. Later I went up to the actual terrace where I had a reserved seat. They took me each time which was really nice and you could come and go from 6:30 pm to 10. Fireworks are about 9:30. They gave me a darth vader sipper, a cool star wars dessert, and endless coffee (or whatever you wanted). The view, being able to relax and be cared for-I forgot about life for a while and just enjoyed. Jocelyn and Madison were cast members who simply excelled and really all of the crew was exceptionally good. I can't wait to do it again!

New fireworks show celebrating the 100th anniversary of Disney should not be missed. We stayed for the fireworks on a Friday night and thought Main Street would be packed but it wasn't. The crowds were definitely tolerable. As the projections are on the buildings along Main Street, you don't have to stake out a place in front of the castle. We actually found our spot 20 minutes before the fireworks started.

Hello. This place is a must see. Get ready to see some future there. I think the first thing that will catch you attention is the tram that you will ride into the park. Inside ins a whole other world. There is a lot to see and plenty of games and if you have kids they can even be invited to act as a star wars character. A real lifetime experience for kids. Also great place for couples to spend some quality time. There is a very good and highly rated hotel within as well. I visited this place once and I will go back whenever I will have time and a good planned trip. Thanks for reading and please ask questions if you have any.

Not just fireworks but a huge light show up and down Main Street. Stand in the middle of Main Street halfway between the train station and the castle and you will get a spectacular view.

Having spent the whole day in Disneyland, most people would be exhausted, especially the kiddies. However, go rest if you must, but come back in to watch this amazing fireworks show at 9.30pm!
Best spot is just in front of the Sleeping Beauty's castle or along Main Street USA. You need to go pretty early though as the crowds get crazy even 30-45 minutes before the fireworks start.
The show was spectacular, as they had images projected onto the castle, with the amazing fireworks. Truly worth the wait!
We were there in June 2019, and they didn't have the night time parade like they did in Disneyland Hong Kong??Not sure if this was park- or season-related.
Bonus Tip: If you happen to be staying at the Howard Johnson hotel, standing at the corner of the street where Mimi's cafe is will give you a closer up view of the fireworks, for free! :)

We did the Skyline Experience at Disneyland. You make reservations and you are able to be there between 8-10 p.m. to see the fireworks on comfortable couches/chairs and tables where the old Innovations used to be. You receive a large snack box with desserts and non-alcoholic drinks. Unfortunately, it is a gamble because if the weather isn't good, the fireworks get cancelled. We had that happen to us. It was nice to have the snack box, but a bummer to miss the fireworks. It's $50/person.

We went to Disney in October, thought it would be great for our 8 yr old, she was sadly disappointed as she had to spend (no exaggeration) half of the day queueing for not very good rides, we had the worst meal known to mankind for the price of eating at a top notch restaurant in the UK,it was called a burger but burger it was not!!' it was tired, it was worn, the whole place was so far removed from how kids interact with games, fun, society, friends, the Internet, that I was shocked...it's just the brand that is clinging on for dear life by the skin of its teeth, kids want a quick fix now, they want to view something, see something, feel something they ask the Internet and bang it's there.!!'only 2-4 yr olds were able to be placated by sweets and other sugary crap, then the meltdown hit around mid day effecting us all....anyone above that age played along with the facade In between staring at their own phone screens..
..disneyland..jeez, I was shocked at how many people were quite happy (adults) stood in a queue for over 30 mins of their life for a lame go on a attempt at a so called ride
....Sorry to be so truthful but it was possibly the worst thing I have ever done to myself, it was like being a manic depressant while at the park, I was on a very small high during my time on a ride but the in-between was like the most depressive part of the year...Oh God the blackness...the endless shuffling, the overweight heavy breathing from the know it all behind me waxing lyrical about the history of star wars, not to mention the employees knowing so much about said ride (it was all forced) and me having to share my air with these cretins was almost to much to bear...and then, another ride...the elation, (short lived) for another hour of standing in line like lambs to the slaughter and waiting for God knows what.....
So no.
..I won't be going back, unless your wiley advertising convinces me to.
...in that case I will be back, sampling my emotional roller-coaster and borderline schizophrenic queueing of highs and lows..
Take note disneyland... People want a quick fix, you are not there yet!''''!!'

This is the first time that I am viewing the fireworks from the river front. I normally view the fireworks in front of the castle in Disneyland. I had a very good uninterrupted view of the fireworks and saw the animation on water very clearly from the front row of the riverfront. The music, narration and animation made the fireworks even more spectacular. I would come back every night just to watch the fireworks if I could.

Hi, do anyone know from previous experience, does Disneyland normally have fireworks on weekdays (Monday to Thursday) during the last week of June? We are planning to go there last week of June in 2023. I know we can check the Disneyland website and it will list entertainment schedule for the next month or so. But we need to book air tickets and prefer to not wait till the last month to book the air tickets. Thanks!

Thank you for your review of the Disneyland fireworks. Question did you walk from the hotel and if you did is it a bad walk?
Written January 18, 2019
We did walk from the hotel. It wasn't a bad walk at all. In fact, there are a lot of other people walking to and from the park at the same time. One tip about the fireworks, sitting in between parks was a famous one, and another day we also sat by It's a Small World...which was my favorite spot to be honest.
Enjoy!! Disneyland was so much fun!!

Does anyone know what the general fireworks schedule is in December?
Written July 9, 2018
Definitely go to the website and associated park for events times. If the times are not yet released it may be worth looking at previous years.
Written July 12, 2018
I read there is currently no fireworks or parades in Disneyland. We will be going in two weeks. Does anyone know when it will be back? Does this happen usually? I cannot find any update on Disney site about the fireworks schedule.
Thanks in advance for the answers

There web site is horrible.. You would think with all the MILLIONS they make a day they could do a better job with it. What I had to do is call them you do get some of your questions answered, but then they will tell you to download their app to get answers.
I hope that helps..

Thank you for your answers and sorry for my poor english.

Because Disneyland is built on a small footprint, you never know if it will be cancelled at the last minute due to winds which might carry debris off site.

Hi,
I've been trying to find out if the Disneyland Park fireworks are on every night in the last week of September. We will be in Anaheim from the 26th to the 28th September 2016 and would like to plan the best day to see the fireworks.
Thanks
