A fun journey in your log with about six people total one per row. Those in front will normally get wetter than those in back but everyone will get wet. A good ride all the time it is even better on warm days. Part of the ride is inside the mountain. There are a couple of dips with the last one being the deepest drop, A few jolts but nothing like the old mouse type coasters.
Smile because you are on camera-you can copy your photo at the end of the ride.
Line was not bad on a weekday but then we jumped in-line shortly after the ride had been down for sometime. Fast Pass is available.

Such a good ride but if there's heavier people on the ride you will definitely go faster and get super wet because you land deeper in the water. Make sure someone protects your electronics or bring waterproof bags like snaplocks. That last steep drop is awesome!!

This ride has been here a lot longer than I realized, until I started counting back to how long ago I was a kid going on it when it was brand new. I remember I always wanted to go to Knotts Berry Farm for the log ride there until this was opened. Now taking my kids, I somehow got stuck in seat #1, the wettest seat in the log. I got soaked but it was great (cold afterward, but the ride was great). My kids liked it so much, they convinced me to do it again on our second day, but at least I got further back in the log and it was sunny that day. The last drop is definitely the big one and will make your stomach jump out your mouth if you aren't ready for it. Big upside of it being December - not hard to get through the line...

This was a fun ride with some good drops. Great special effects. Best to ride this last in case you get soaked. If you sit in the back, you can stoop down behind the riders in front of you to avoid getting wet. The lines are never long for this ride - maybe 10-15 minutes

Enjoyed the ride, got splashed a bit not nothing major. Kept my feet dry on tucking them under the sides of the seat on front. A quick queue when park opens. Photo opportunity too.

We were prepared to get splashed but not so soaked from socks to next through multiple layers. We asked around for a bathroom that we could use to dry under hand dryers but just shrugs. Had to walk on our sore feet back to the hotel and then back to the park. Waste of an afternoon. Sent a message to Disney but no response.

Back in the day it was a fun ride with a spectacular ending - great disney animatronics & atmosphered combined with log ride thrills. Today, not so much. Now, it seems even it is 50 degrees outside, the ride is designed to ensure you get SOAKED to your undies and socks. Who carries a change of clothes or wants to walk around wet all day?
Plus the ride broke down and we had to be "emergency exited." There was no truly safe and easy way to exit the ride and it took a long time to be freed. Disney's solution was to offer us fast passes to the next ride. They were nonchalant like this is an everyday thing.
I will say this, the new seat dividers are nice.

Very fun ride! It’s pretty low-key for most of it, tooling along in the boat with all the animatronic animals singing happily, then they start to sing kind of creepily, doom ahead, that sort of thing, and your boat plunges off the mountain, first giving you a moment to appreciate the steep drop ahead :) That’s where you’ll get soaked. And where the picture is taken, so be sure to stop on your way out for the code for your picture :)

This is hands-down my favorite ride at Disneyland. Space Mountain used to be it, but add water to a ride and I'm sold!
EXPERIENCE:
First off, the queue line is super deceiving as you can never see what's ahead of you or behind for that matter as short straightaways and corners visually impair you.
What makes this water ride better than anyone else's is the atmosphere. From entry point to exit, the mountainous theme, music, and attention to detail-décor is unbelievable. Even the flume is decorated to make you feel like you're actually in a natural waterway floating through the mountains and not some manmade fiberglass slide. Cliffs and berms with hanging grass, trees and foliage up the authenticity factor.
The ride starts off with a gentle float through curves before heading indoors for the majority of the ride. Decoration takes a huge leap inside with animatronics, music and what I like to call that "Disney smell" which is a combination of the water, air conditioning, and from the set decorations themselves. The happy-sounding music just makes you feel good and puts a smile on your face regardless of your age. It's not all just floating and observing like in the "It's A Small World" ride as there are a few small drops and acceleration points for a bit of excitement. The theme changes throughout the ride.
Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Your log is taken up a steep hill for the final drop. It's a bit gut-wrenching but so much fun! But in Disney-style, it doesn't end there as you enter one last indoor area where the lively song "Zippa-dee-do-dah" is playing with equally uplifting animatronics. Makes you want to go again!
TIP:
Near closing time, Fast Pass wasn't needed and I went on three times in a row with no line.
OVERALL:
It's a fairly long ride at close to 10 minutes, and definitely the most fun water ride of any park yet. Highly recommended!

This is always a good ride, the updates since we first went on were good. It is always nice and cool in the line which is great in summer. One of my families favourites
