You ride this ride not for scares, surprises, or anything unexpected. You ride for the nostalgia of going through the story of Pinocchio's story. This ride is worth an extra 2 stars if you have a 5 year old or younger with you. We had a 14 year old cousin that refused to ride and we got his 11 year old brother to ride with us. As with the other Fantasyland rides, always a pretty short line.

This is a classic Disneyland ride based off a great book! My kids really liked it and afterward, said they wanted to reread Pinocchio. Any ride that inspires reading is an A+ in my mind :)

This is one of the older rides in the park, but still enjoyable to try--if only to get a feel for the park when it first opened. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

A few things I love about this ride; The line is always short, as the ride is able to move a lot of people through per hour. This is one of the classic Disney stories that every child should know. The queue is mostly shaded. Last but not least, its Pinocchio!! Don't be an ass!

This ride brought back memories of my childhood when I read the story of Pinocchio. However, if one does not know about Pinocchio this ride will not be do meaningful. Nevertheless, an enjoyable ride although again like most Disney rides scary for children.

Pinocchio's Daring Journey is a thrilling ride for all ages. It's not scary for young children but is visually stunning. You board the ride and venture through Pinocchio's world. Stromboli chases after your cart. One of Disney's most creative and adventurous movies converted to a ride we can all enjoy.

Recently I went to Disneyland with my brother and I went on this Pinocchio's Daring Journey ride and I noticed there is outdated problematic content featured in the ride involving Pleasure Island showing smoking, cigars and tobacco references and beer references. In the Tobacco Row section there are Sioux Native American stereotypes featured on the ride. Also, it features animal cruelty scenes of 2 donkey boys in cages and an Asian stereotype doll in a cage.
I'm shocked that Disneyland would still show Native American stereotypes as pipe smokers since this is no longer 1983, Also I'm a small partial Native American from the Mohican Tribe but mostly a white European man. I hope Disneyland will retheme Pinocchio's Daring Journey ride and update it from the Pinocchio 1940 film to the 2022 Pinocchio remake update and remove the tobacco and beer references and rename beer to root beer and remove the Native American stereotypes and remove the cages from the 2 donkey boys.
If the Disneyland staff is reading this review, please retheme Pinocchio's Daring Journey Ride and remove the Native American statue stereotypes, this is not 1983 it features outdated Native American stereotypes please remove them in the rethemed update.

It’s very simple and a marvellous advert for how rides use to be at Disney taking you through this classic story. Simple and effective. Don’t expect too much.

Pinocchio’s Daring Journey is a dark ride located in the Fantasyland section of Disneyland. Although it seems very similar to nearby attractions like Toads Wild Ride and Snow White that were original to the park opening it was actually not put in until 1983. It is not our favorite Disney movie but we still enjoyed the ride.

You can't expect this ride to be any different from the many in fantasyland. It may appear to be old due like the movie itself, but this ride was one of the newest additions; yet they make it so similar to some of the originals from opening day. This ride is easy to take your baby on with you, but be prepared for loud noises. It is nice to take when it is raining or really hot outside. If you don't like the story of Pinocchio, you will not like this ride, and those who have sensitive little ones, they may get scared. However, if you appreciate this story and what it represents, you may enjoy it more than most. It may even bring back memories for some of you.
