Good ride, mainly from a nostalgia perspective. This is an old school ride and it definitely replaces large drops with jarring switches in direction. Not as smooth as something like Space Mountain, but still fun. While I know a lot of rides have the warning about neck and back problems being reasons not to go, I have to admit that this might be the one ride that is really true. Be in good shape and expect to be bounced around as you fly down the mountain. Line can get pretty long.

Been a couple decades since I last rode the Matterhorn, they've added a water feature to this, which doesn't really make a difference. It's still a fast and tight turning coaster. Cars are a tight fit if you are a normal sized American.

This ride always has massive queues and it surprised me because I didn't really enjoy it. If you're tall you will be squashed and because it rattles around your knees end up getting banged around. Not my favourite but that's my opinion.

I had this ride with my 10 y. o. daughter. What a horrible experience! This ride is so rough, jerky, uncomfortable, scary and bumpy - you can fill it's over 60 y. o. even after renovation! I was praying for it to end the entire time on the ride. It is really dangerous for your physical and mental health. My daughter complained that ride gave her a headache and she had tremor in her hands. I have sore neck and back. If they are not able to replace the track and sleds with something smoother, then they have to close this attraction. I feel this is my duty to warn others about this ride.

This is not the Matterhorn ride that you remember It was a horrible experience…the ride was so rough that my back is still hurting five days later. From the initial lurch forward, slamming my back into the seat, I had to tense every muscle in my body to prevent getting slammed around in the car. I was praying for it to end the entire time on the ride. In my opinion, this classic attraction needs to be closed and the track refurbished.

A truly awful ride. My 16yo son and I felt lucky to survive it. It jars you side-to-side violently such that my glasses almost flew off...the entire time. Truly cannot believe this is still operating. Needs to be retired ASAP. Do. Not. Ride.

The Matterhorn Bobsleds has been around a long time. Still a fun ride for most the first few times they ride it.
It's been probably five years since I last rode it. Guess I've put on a few pounds as it was a tight squeeze for me and actually needed help accessing the seat belt as my knee was shoved up against the side of the sled to fit in. A problem for those over six feet.
Did not really enjoy this time as the tight squeeze and the jolts along the rails bothered my back and legs.

This is a fun ride but you can get banged around a bit. It has never been a smooth ride and maybe it is because I am getting older, but riding once during our 5 days in Disneyland was more than enough for me. Space Mountain and Big Thunder are much smoother rides.
The lines get long though so it is still a popular ride.

This ride was old when I was a kid 30 years ago. That being said, it's a classic. It more or less hasn't changed since I was a kid, and you feel every bump and jolt this ride has to offer. My 5 year old was the only member of my family brave enough to ride it with me, and he liked it except for the abominable snowman part, which I think has been scaring kids since the park opened.
It's still fun and brings back memories, but could probably use a renovation or two.

Of all the rides we did at Disneyland and DCA, this is the one I'd ride again last.
Its an old ride, and you feel every bump and turn. Very uncomfortable and nowhere near as fun as Thunder Mountain or Space Mountain.

I'm kinda a wimp when it comes to roller coasters and like to know what's coming, are there any huge drops or turns?
